Hangzhou Hostellit

For me who can't read chinesse, it't pretty difficult to find this hotel. Maybe you need to put a sign in english. And the owner bring me to Hangzhou police station to get permit stay eventough my document all clear. Over all, the room is pretty good just for sleep. And the most important one, it's pretty near to west lake with this budget.

Check-in staff and in house staff were really patient, respectful, and helpful. Asked them for direction and they kindly searched for it. This is a dormitory style homestay with shared room and bathroom. We stay in a private room with a private bathroom and toilet.Has hot water with good pressure. Non smoking room. Room is clean but mattress is really old and should be replaced. The tatami layout is nice with a simple sitting area.Recommend for owner to install more clothes hanging hooks for convenience. No tv in room. They have a large common area with regular and hot water dispenser. Many table and chairs for use. Location is far from city centre but within 10km by metro. Same distance to the west lake

This place is okay but I had slightly higher expectations to be honest. Cleanliness is alright, they give you a bag with a small towel upon request, both to be returned. Has free water dispensers, toiletries and a microwave. Common areas don't have a vibe but you can prepare and have your food and play video games as everyone else. The biggest common area is to the right side of the reception, which, as per usual, they don't tell you. There is that Olympic Stadium nearby, but the city center is actually on the other side of the river. From here you will either need to take public transportation or a cab to West Lake or other interesting parts of town. Walking to the light show on the other side of the river bank took more than 1.5 hrs and it is not supposed to be walked. There are no useful signs on the building but the way to get here is to use the ”hotel entrance” and use the single elevator straight ahead. Do not turn right to use the elevators in the elevator room. If you do, only the very right one brings you to the 5th floor where you will check in. Very confusing and no signs to help you. It also might take a bit until the right elevator arrives. The shoe rack was inside the room, which resulted in a very smelly room. Guitar with old strings, barely playable. If I came back, I'd rather try out another place.

This Youth hostel is great for budgets and young travellers to mingle with foreigners and local Chinese. However, there are concerns about the hygiene level at the toilets and bathrooms area which I informed the desk staff to take corrective actions. The clothes drying area is very musty, wet and has a very stuffy smell which may cause bacteria growth due to lack of fresh air ventilation. Each domintory room doesn't have enough fresh air ventilation and may cause stuffy and poor or no fresh circulation even if they use the air conditioner. Some young guests are still smoking in the bathroom and toilet even though there are no smoking notices posted everywhere. This hostel has great amenities and facilities like Library, LED TV, snooker table, vending machines, hot water dispenser small tables and chairs at the lobby.

Amazing hotel

Sijainti: Erinomainen sijainti, hieman yli 200 metriä metroasemalta, kätevät kulkuyhteydet. Siisteys: Upea ympäristö, pesukone saatavilla ja kuivaustila erittäin siisti ja puhdas. Hinta-laatusuhde: Verrattuna useisiin muihin paikkoihin kansallispäivän loman aikana, tämä oli kohtuuhintainen. Wi-Fi: Nopea internetyhteys, jokaisessa huoneessa on oma Wi-Fi. Huoneen koko: Tilavat ja valoisat huoneet, ilmastointi pitää lämpötilan mukavana. Äänieristys: Käytävä on erittäin siisti ja hiljainen. Huoneen mukavuudet: Jokaisessa huoneessa on verhot, pieni lamppu ja pieni kaappi, mikä takaa hyvän yksityisyyden. Sänky: Patja, tyynyt ja peitot ovat erittäin pehmeitä. Pysäköinti: Kätevä pysäköintimahdollisuus lähistöllä. Palvelu: Omistaja on erittäin avulias, alakerrassa on kylttejä, jotka auttavat matkatavaroiden kanssa, mikä on hienoa. Siellä on myös pieni koira.

There was a very cute cat! The hostel staff were very welcoming and accomodating and helpful. The Hostel was in a great location, with a convenience store in the same building and a metro station down the road. Rooms were very well kept and everything was tidy. The toilet seats were heated and fancy. Definitely reccomend!

Nice place to stay, very Clean and tidy. The Ladies from the cleaning service where busy cleaning all day long. They should get an award for this. When are you actually sleeping? Xixi shuanshuan fei chang hao! Excellent service. Jane from the reception desk speaks excellent Englisch and ist extremly helpful. Thanks for all. It hast been great meeting you. Facilties are good. There are even Seat Covers for the toilet seats. The place ist very close to the underground. You have to use it, to get somewhere interesting, but it is on Line No. 1 that brings you tou West Lake, Airport, East Railway Station an Railway Station. Excellent value.

Hotel location is near to metro stations, with many eatery outlets surroundings. Walking distance to West Lake Musical Fountain venue. Friendly and helpful front desk staff. Thank you for allowing us to store our luggage before the room check-in time. Room size is spacious and clean. I would recommend this hotel to friends.
