Horsham North

There’s a lot of bad reviews about this Premier Inn. I don’t leave reviews ordinarily but felt it needed a bit of defence. It is worn out and tired but my particular room was clean and comfy and had everything I needed. Talking to some staff, there has been a lot of changes and they are doing their best despite challenges. Every single member of staff I crossed paths with were lovely, chatty, friendly and couldn’t do enough. I had breakfast and dinner and my food was perfect. The hotel is in a great location, central to everything and a free car park. Please don’t discard it because of other reviews.

Worse Premier lnn l have stayed in. The building was looking tired, nothing like the photos. Lack of staff, those there were undertaking many tasks and worked hard. They knew how busy it may well be .Poor food and quality. Waited 2 hours for food on Friday night.

The room was far too hot and stuffy. 23.5 degrees when 14 outside. Creaky old fan provided only marginally improved comfort. Generally the place is a bit tired, and the restaurant was shut in the evening with no advance notice given of this. The positives are friendly staff and free parking - but I chose Premier Inn for a good nights sleep which I didn’t get due to the heat of the room.

Over the years ive stayed in many Premier Inns, and this is one of the more disappointing ones. There is no lift and the rooms and building are tatty and much in need of a refresh - marks on the carpets and the mirrors silvering at the edges etc. the room was very hot ( In Oct) but thankfully there was a fan, albeit very noisy so difficult to sleep. The outside of the building is also tatty. The breakfast advertised is an all you can eat buffet - but at this one that is only true of the continental. The hot food has to be ordered and therefore difficult to select items the way you like them - or of course go around again. If you are thinking of staying in Horsham avoid this and stay at the newer one in the town centre. It is MILES better. It also doesn’t do evening food….. Very unimpressed

The hotel was exactly what we wanted. The room was hot and could do with air conditioning but the room was comfortable and clean.

6 nights no hot water no room clean when asked complained promised but never done .no clean towels cups bedding ran out of toilet paper !
