Having toured RCI locations since 2019, Pend Oreille Shores is our favorite resort. It has somehow managed to change with the times. Efficient, friendly, and quiet. The owners stand by their policies and rules which we appreciate. It was nice to finally spend a vacation without the noise of barking dogs!

The resort made a nice base location for our week in Sandpoint. We were mainly there to ski at Schweitzer which was great. While there are closer places to town, the hotels didn't appear as nice and the drive from the resort to the ski shuttle is just under 30 minutes. You can drive all the way up to the mountain in another 30 minutes, but the road up from the shuttle stop to the mountain is very steep and winding, so if weather or weekend traffic is heavy, the (free) shuttle is the way to go. The pool and hot tubs at Pend Oreille Shores were great at the end of the day and the resort staff is super helpful. The condo itself was awesome - we had plenty of room for 4 of us and they even had an EV charger in the parking lot near the tennis courts for our son's EV. There are many places to eat and shop in Sandpoint and overall it was just a relaxing and fun time.

Wonderful place to hang out for a week. Rooms were great Staff was Great and the Pool/Sauna/hot tubs were perfect. I love swimming in a heated pool that's actually heated. The Liquid hand soap in the kitchen and bathrooms was a nice touch. Best equipped kitchen I've seen in a long time. Air Fryer????

Nice relaxing stay at the resort. Resort is older, but was accommodations were clean /well kept and all the necessary items were in the condo. You might want to pack your own beach towels for lake use. The resort provides towels at the activity center for swimming, but you turn them in when you leave the indoor pool. We were there over the 4th of July and was able to experience the fireworks out over the water. Nice added bonus. Amazing views. There is a floating restaurant next door is a great place to get a bite to eat and enjoy the lake. You can rent canoes/kayaks and paddle boats right from the resort to explore the lake. There are rafts in the water that you can swim to from the shore as well as activity center with indoor pool/hot tubs. There is plenty to do in the area, but will need a car to experience them. Resort has daily activities as well. Val is a great resource for this information. Had a wonderful time. Thank you for the experience and hospitality.

Our rooms were all upgraded and the staff was excellent!! Accommodating and helpful !! The person working the events dept was more than outstanding and helpful!!!

What an awesome place to visit. Wonderful views. Can’t say enough about the unit we stayed in. It was very clean and well stocked with every thing we needed. The staff was well above excellent. Very friendly and informative. Always willing to help out with any thing you needed I look forward to the next time I get to return to this wonderful place. I was able to get in some much needed rest and relaxation. I would definitely highly recommend this place. It’s AWESOME

Our unit was spacious, neat, and well-stocked. The beds were comfortable, and we loved the athletic center. The outdoor hot tubs were a special treat. Unlike some places, Pend Oreille keeps the water quite warm--very nice!

The resort has all the amenities listed, the resort is a bit old I’m going to guess 1970s and could be brought up to date in a lot of areas.one that worth mention in the bathroom must notably no extra space around the sink not even a counter for your toiletries, etc. on could be an improvement. A Main lLodge with a fireplace some furniture and a morning set up of coffee muffins,fruit layout of some kind ,what you see in so many resorts would be a nice touch. The only check-in area is in a general store on the premises.

The resort was wonderful. There were so many activities to do and places to explore. We had a great week. The condo was roomy and very comfortable. The pool and hot tub were just what we needed. And being able to walk right to the dock to fish was a bonus. We loved it and are hoping to go again in the future.
