Best Western Plus Hotel Hong Kong

Near tram stop and MTR Sai Ying Pun. Room is clean and reasonable with price. Staff is very nice and helpful.

My original booking was for 2 nights stay for superior room and I subsequently brought forward 1 more nights stay and have to book a superior suite. I have to book to separate 1 night stay as the hotel refused to modify the dates saying it is their policy. Upon arrival, I requested if I can stayed in the same room for 3 nights and the answer was I have to pay extra for upgrading the 2 nights from superior to superior suite. I told them their superior room Was not available when i booked and they said they have the room. If i choose to stay in superior room, no refund for my extra 1 night booking under the superior suite booking. Aside from this, i have to check out of my suoerior suite and move to the uperior room. Again they said is their policy. The services are really bad. Anything I asked they quoted is their policy. No flexibility at all. This is frustrating as this hotel is not the first time I stayed. There were no complimentary water, tooth brush etc. I checked with the service counter and was told to purchase from the vending machine on the 5th floor. The last time I stayed in this hotel, basic stuff like any hotel were available.

The hotel unfortunately did not meet my expectations. There were moths flying around the room, and after the first night I woke up with multiple bites, most likely caused by bed bugs. The overall cleanliness also leaves a lot to be desired. On the positive side, the location is quite good — there are many nice restaurants and cafes nearby, and the hotel has convenient access both to the city center and the airport.

My stay at Best Western Plus Hotel Hong Kong was truly a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and warm hospitality. The location is incredibly convenient — everything feels within reach. Whether it’s public transport, sightseeing, or simply exploring the city, getting around is effortless and stress-free. The room was impressively clean, spacious, and well-maintained. It offered a relaxing atmosphere with plenty of space to unwind. The bathroom was equally well-kept, with great functionality and attention to detail that reflects a high standard of care. What stood out the most was the staff. They were genuinely friendly, approachable, and welcoming — never cold or distant. Even simple services like luggage storage were handled with kindness and a smile, making the whole experience feel personal and comforting. A small but memorable detail was the consistently fresh and pleasant scent throughout the hotel, which gave a sense of cleanliness and thoughtful maintenance at all times. Overall, this was not just a place to stay, but a place that made the entire trip feel more special. I would definitely return without hesitation.

Great location! The hotel is very convenient and just a short walk to the ding ding tram station. Easy access to many attractions and local food.

Our room would have been fine if it had been clean. It was not. The gym was disappointing. The heaviest weights were 10kg, so they were useless. There were no resistance training machines. It would have been fine if I just wanted to do cardio, it would have been ok. The breakfast here is small and poor quality. We had prepaid and were refused a refund, but we didn’t bother going after the first morning.

The location is convenient. Room is okay. Staff is helpful. They provide luggage storage. Inexpensive morning dim sum restaurant next to (connected inside) the hotel.

I stayed here previously. Facility was aged but was okay. HOWEVER this time I had a VERY BAD experience. First of all, television malfunction in the first room. Speaker was still playing even the television was off. It was too late and took too long to get it fixed so I requested a change of room. The new room has a pair of undies and socks left on the floor from previous guests. There were hairs on the desk. Reception staff sent someone to pick them up and that was it. There was no reaching out or apologies made.
