GATEWAY HOTEL HONG KONG

設施：挺一般的，老舊而且昏暗的房間，窗户是封閉的不能打開，房間有比較嚴重的黴味，沒有空氣凈化器。 衞生：不能細看，地毯裏很多頭髮，懷疑不吸地，衞生間是在浴缸裏洗的，沒有獨立的淋浴房，洗澡的時候需要注意，不然水就潑了滿地。 服務：沒有服務。 唯一的優勢就是交通方便點，要注意的是之前預訂的時候説酒店可以吸煙，其實是不可以的，沒有吸煙房，酒店強調了都禁煙，需要抽煙的不用特地看這家預訂。不過這點告知攜程以後攜程客服處理好了，也給了補償方案。

It was terrible that it has spicy sauces on the bed sheet while we enter. Then we later notice that there are biscuits creepers leftover in the bedpillows. Had a terrible day in the hotel.

The location is great, relatively close to the high speed train station and the waterfront walkway. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a good variety and food preferences. I would recommend staying here, we only spend the night.

Very comfortable hotel. The main advantage is a direct access to the Harbour City Shopping Mall with a big variety of shops and restaurants. The mattresses and pillows in the room were comfortable.   Our room had a side street view, it was quiet. The sound isolation of the rooms was quite satisfying. The windows couldn’t be open, but the supply ventilation was ok, it wasn’t stuffy to sleep. We didn’t feel any cigarette or mold smell. All the sockets in the room were British standard 1363, only one in the bathroom was European. The safe was quite capacious to keep 13” laptop. The room had a small minibar with just 2 cans of beer and coke, but had enough space to keep something  one could buy. The room service supplied us with good still water in glass bottles every day. The cleaning was every day. There is an iron and iron-board in the room.  We had no lack in anything. Whatever we asked additionally: additional clothes hangers, forks, sewing kit, - was immediately brought to the room. The breakfasts were 7.00-10.30 and were varied, there was a noodle station, scrambled eggs station, a lot of national food, dumplings, vegetarian corner, curry corner, good fresh bakery, pancakes machine, good coffee machines with good coffee beans, and a lot of standard international breakfast staff. Of course there is something what the hotel can pay attention to in future: for example the water tap of the sink was inconvenient to manipulate, the bathroom door handle was very loud to close, it was strange to had a dry soap bar aside from the sink and a body lotion dispenser just near the tap, so we always got confused and pressed the lotion to wash hands:))
