Great stay in Homer
We were so fortunate to find this place when our other accomodations canceled. Anna & Byron were so gracious. We had the log cabin with private bathroom and comfortable sitting area for breakfast. View from our room was amazing. Hosts are very eco- friendly and support local business.

An extremely comfortable home-away-from-home style guesthouse in the beautiful and interesting little town of Homer. Anna and Byron really operate this place like a labour of love, they know so much about the area and are so kind and helpful -- they also serve up a truly delicious homemade breakfast every morning. The location is great too -- far away enough from the main town that it feels like you're immersed in nature (plus great views from everywhere) but just a couple of minutes drive from all the restaurants and tour operators. Highly recommend staying here, it was a real pleasure.

The home is lovely, the surrounding area is mostly left to nature for the animals. We saw a moose and her twins in their driveway and parking lot. The next morning there was a moose bedded down in the front yard! Anna and Byron serve a beautiful breakfast with homemade healthy bread. Delicious! We hope to return next year. Will definitely reserve early, view is GORGEOUS!

This BnB has to be the best place in Homer. The beds are comfortable. Rooms are nicely appointed in local art, views of Chugach bay stunning. Anna and Byron provide an organic breakfast of eggs, bacon, home made bread and jams and juice. They are very willing to guide you to activities and places from great hiking trails, excursions, sight seeing and restaurants. We will definitely come back to this idyllic place in the North and stay longer than the 5 days we did. Lots more to see and do in Homer.

Todo perfecto. Los propietarios son encantadores. Nos cuidaron como si fueramos de la familia. El desayuno muy completo y buenisimo. Las vistas espectaculares. Muy tranquilo y acogedor. Muy muy recomendable!!.

I stayed here only 1 night but I really enjoyed its location, the views and the quiet surrounding. Very relaxing place, only 10 mins drive to the Homer spit. The rooms was spacious, bed comfortable, amenities great. The place was clean, breakfast menu offered options and they were all filling (eggs, bacon or sausage, toast, jam, drinks, tea, etc). I loved the sample food and the home made apple jam. Nice touch. The owner(s) were very nice, explained things to do in Homer, we discussed hiking options and thanks to her advise, I took a boat ride to the Kachemak park and hiked to the glacier lake and some other trails. I would definately stay there again!

We took a 3 day trip to Homer to celebrate a decade birthday. I telephoned Anna in advance and she gave me some great recommendations, such as a boat lunch trip to Gull Island and the Saltry restaurant at Halibut Cove, which I was able to book well in advance. We had a fantastic time meeting and chatting with both Anna and Byron. They are superb hosts, serving delicious made to order breakfasts with private seating. We had lovely breakfast appetizers and choice of different options daily. Loved the fresh picked raspberries from their garden! Byron makes a scrumptious homemade sourdough bread. They can accommodate vegetarian and vegan options. The glacier view room was lovely, with a very comfortable bed. We hope to return again in the future.
