Bali Hai Beachfront Resort and Spa

It was a nice cozy hotel. Free welcome cocktail for each guest was nice surprise. Right by the ocean if you stay in the ocean view room. The balconies don’t have dividers between rooms on the first floor.

My daughter & I take M/D trips & we chose the BH Resort! It felt so comfortable & homey. Only 2 stories & 43 rooms, so very quaint. We chose this resort over all the other Lumara Resorts in AMI because of the views & it had a bar/food. The front desk lobby had bags of ice for free, which we used for our cooler for the beach. They had nice merch, sunscreen, drinks & cocktails to purchase. Thought it was really nice amenity to have the water/foot washing stations off the beach. We rented a golf cart from Beachin' It. We reserved a gas cart, they delivered & pickup from the resort, was very convenient. From site seeing around island & looking at other resorts with ocean views, I didn't see another property that compared to BH Resort. From the landscaping, the pretty building/decor & amenities offered. I couldn't have been more pleased with this resort/trip. And we can't wait to return & hope very much we can get the same room. It was a very quiet property, staff was sooooo nice! Was a very clean resort even though we didn't like the old bathroom floor, we just put towels down to walk on & that worked for us. I was also told that they are renovating the upstairs of the ocean view room (1st floor has already been renovated). Can't wait to return & see the changes.

This place is extremely misleading and has nothing good to offer. Our first room had stains all over the carpet and the property certainly isn’t smoke free as the neighbors were smoking cigarettes. The property is out dated, the grass is fake turf. Our room had damage on the interior wall and we had to be moved rooms after we already checked in. I would not spend the money at this place at all.

Stayed only 1 of 2 nights. For $ 400 it was a joke! Efficiency room was so tiny, no room to hang cloth unless you want to have your coffeemaker that did not work steam it up as the small area to hang your cloths are right over it. No milk in the fridge for coffee. When I asked at the reception why there is no milk and sugar, she said, you need to get it from the breakfast room at the other building. So, I am suppose to get up at 6 am, get dressed and walk accross the pool area to get milk and sugar? The coffee maker was fixed while I was out to get the milk around 9 am. Bed was comfy and bathroom was good, TV too large for the room! I felt like I am at a movie theater. Totally overrated!

This was by far the worst vacation and the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. The rooms were okay and seemed fairly new, but the towels were extremely limited, and the same went for the toilet paper. When we arrived, there was a large water leak right in the middle of the entrance area. However, that wasn’t even the worst part. There are stairs everywhere and no elevator. That may be fine for some guests, but my 80-year-old grandmother was unable to manage them. The final straw was at night. The hallways were almost completely dark, making it very difficult to see. In fact, one member of our group tripped over a rock, broke two toenails, and was bleeding. When I went to the front desk for help, it was closed. There was only a sign instructing guests to call a phone number. When I called, a woman answered who sounded like she was out partying, and I could barely hear her. She told me that turning on the hallway lights was prohibited. Unbelievable. This was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had, especially considering that this hotel was far from cheap.

My family and I have been staying at Bali Hai for several years now, ever since they first opened. It is by far our favorite hotel in the world! The location is unbeatable, and the rooms are phenomenal. We've stayed in every type of room they offer here, and all of them have exceeded expectations, but let me tell you.... the brand new oceanfront suites are INCREDIBLE. There's literally nothing more you could ever want or need, these rooms tick every box and are perfect for a family of up to 6. I highly recommend staying here, they never disappoint!

The room was very large, very accommodating, beautiful view of the pool area easy access to the beach small restaurant on site and the staff was very friendly room was clean. Very happy with this day.

The location is wonderful! We had a gulf-front unit, and they all have a perfect view of the Gulf... we watched the sunset each night from our balcony. You are 10 feet from the sand, and 75 feet from the pool... so convenient! The staff is extremely helpful and polite. The lounge is super convenient as well for snacks / drinks while sitting by the pool, or to just enjoy a meal without having to drive anywhere.

I loved the beach view and the beach was being and super clean just an advice add a bit more pool beds and umbrellas
