Hotel Pernik

The hotel was in good condition . It is a three star hotel however. The pool was the greatest attraction of the Hotel. The poolside bar and patio only had drinks but absolutly no food. The complimentary breakfast was limited to a sandwich of ham and cheese on a small roll. Maybe and egg if you are there on a lucky day. Most days not. They came along with a glass of juice made with Cuban water, which I dare not drink. They served this a few pices of cut fruit. Half a cup of coffee, It was hit or miss if they had SUGAR to put in the coffee. The small hotel restaurants on the lower level has two choices for a meal. Ham steak or fish. My last two days they had a hamburger steak. That was it. Most of my meals were eaten in restaurants away from the hotel at several of the downtown parks. The room was clean and well cared for. The TV and airconditioner did work well. They promised internet cards to buy during my seven day visit. But the internet cards were never available. I had to go to the central park, sit in the sun, and connect ot the internet. Half of each day the electricity was off, therefore no internet. However, it is still the best place to stay in Holguin

Great location right in the center of Holguin Cuba. Unlike resorts that are 1 hour away and secluded this hotel is real Cuba . Walking distance to the baseball stadium .Price is affordable about the same price as a casa particular but not for you money .it has 24hour security 24hour bar 3 resturants a huge swimming pool. I don't understand why peaple would go to a casa this hotel is clean has a 24hour doctor on site nurse ..the hotel is used by both Cubans and tourist . They have upgraded and renovated most rooms and resturants .top class service and security

Hotel unico y precioso, iremos . Con una recepcion atenta al cliente y con una recepconista unica Roxana muy cordial y profesional en todo momento y mas es que habla el francés muy bien. La amabilidad y diplomacia forman parte de su atencion.

Yo aconsejo que cierren el hotel. Pésimo!!!!!! La atención, la habitación se estaba desarmando, sin insumos en la habitación. Me parece falta de respeto decir que tiene 3 estrellas, no le daría ni 1 estrella. La peor experiencia en un hotel

De lo peor, paredes con moho, iluminación super deficiente (faltan la mitad de los bombillos en la habitación), el aire acondicionado es antiguo y hace un ruido insoportable, los colchones súper incómodos, mando de los televisores con baterías que no sirven,las ofertas de restaurantes de lo peor, solo agua y no embotellada, la calidad en la elaboración pésima además de lo pésimo de la oferta, en fin, un lugar(ya q no lo llamaría hotel) para cerrar.

We arrived on Sunday afternoon and the pool was filled with locals, who made the pool dirty and it was very noisy. Receptionists were friendly but most of the other staff didn't even look at us or were rude. Breakfast took forever, was bad and again rude staff Rooms were clean but outdated. Power sockets were not working well so even though our voltage is different, our phones/batteries didn't charge. City centre is a 30+ min walk All in all we did not like this hotel at all.
