Beachside Boutique Resort

The hotel itself is a nice hotel. Rooms are clean and nice decoration. They have balcony with ok views of pool. Sea views are limited as they obstructed view by trees and restaurants. On March 9th, I came back to my hotel room around 10pm and found my door unlocked as seen in picture. I alerted front desk agent right away and she came up with me to open and check the room. Next day (11am), I went to front desk for a follow up, but the Vietnamese agent didn’t know how to handle the situation. She informed me that housekeeping staff made sure to close the door (after cleaning) and I was the only one with key card. She also told me that surveillance cameras were broken and not working. A few minutes later the supervisor Karolina (from Poland) approached the desk and they gave me a new room (21). Then I realized it didn’t have a safe box so I had to go to front desk again to request one. I asked Karolina to check CCTV footage and she told me that the GM was in old town and not able to see the footage right away (which is weird because she is a supervisor). I told her I did not feel safe anymore and I wanted to move to a different hotel. Finally, Karolina informed me (around 1:15pm) that they saw footage (which I didn’t) and only housekeeping and I were the only ones in the room that day. They didn’t offer any other options but to move to another room. The main reason I reserved a private room was for privacy and safety but this hotel does not offer that. Management is very slow taking actions and it feels like they are not trained properly for situations like this. I’m a male solo traveler, and this whole situation made me feel uncomfortable. I usually never post reviews, but I feel responsible to let future travelers know my experience and hoping does not happen again. This hotel takes laid-back and relaxing vibes to another level (not in a safety way).

This is the perfect CLEAN hostel to go to that is chill but super sociable if you want it to be. It’s on the beach, lovely pool, organised shuttle busses to the old town which was ideal! There’s a stunning bar/ restaurant opposite the hostel that takes you down to the beach where you get a discount. Great food here and perfect for sunset drinks. Bar crawls/ pub quizzes

Hoi an is our family favorite place . We usually come here at least 2 times every year but since I found Beachside and especially had a chance to make friend with its lovely owner- chi Ha as my bff works for her, I find a re-new my love with Hoian. We choose 3 bedrooms apt in this hotel for our stay and I actually stayed here 2 times - total 14 days in recent 2 months. There is no word saying how my parents and my kids enjoying this place with beach and pool, bicycling and kayak.We love all lovely people here and of course delicious food. Moreover, if you can -pls stay here over Sunday then u can join dinner with village-music at a very beautiful Salt Pub restaurant which is opposite of the hotels. AND don't forget to enjoy coffee shop around the hotel. They are all having good Vietnam roasted Arabica :).

A must stay in Hoi An. Great boutique hotel. Opposite beach and Salt Pub. Really relaxing, beautiful, great restaurants, bars and close to the bubbling artisan town of Hoi An. Beachside offers the best of both worlds for travelling beach lovers who want to relax but also want to explore the beauties of UNESCO listed Hoi An.
