I had booked 3 nights through ******* and trip.com, but they were overbooked. I was introduced to another hotel run by a family without being informed that it was overbooked. I found out about the overbooking when I was about to be charged the additional difference the next day. Since I had made reservations through two internet sites, I had emailed them to confirm my reservation in advance, but they said they didn't do it because they didn't know how to use email. They said they stopped listing online travel agencies, but they are still listing them. Even though I had made the reservation few months in advance and had already paid, I was told that the hotel price had increased and was about to be charged an additional fee. They also asked me to split the additional difference between them, but I refused to pay because it was not my fault. The couple seem nice however the experience felt like a scam. I trusted the good reviews too much. They should have apologized for overbooking, but they never did.

El hospedaje está en el centro de la zona Tom Coc, no dispone de ascensor pero el edificio tiene dos plantas, la habitación tenía muy buenas vistas.
La habitación estaba muy bien tenía aire acondicionado y ventilador, no hay TV, el Wifi era muy lento.
En cuanto al anfitrión es muy amable, preparan desayunos y hay algunos platos de desayuno occidental, hay que hacer uso del traductor ya que no hablan muy bien el inglés.

Highly recommend
Staff is very friendly and very helpful. They gave me a great tour on a moto of the surrounding tourist sites, cooked me delicious breakfast every morning, and gave me some free wine every night. My room was clean, toilet and shower works great, and plenty of hot water. The surrounding city/village is beautiful. They assisted me in booking my next bus to Sapa village.

Most amazing homestay run by the loveliest people!!! The woman running this place is so helpful and friendly, this is definitely the place to stay if you want to feel welcome in Tam Cốc. The homestay itself is very nice, the beds are so comfy and the rooms are very clean. The location is also perfect- for exploring Tam Cốc and making the most of your stay or just for enjoying good local food. You can hire bikes from the homestay and explore the local temples and mua caves. Thank you for having us :) x

This is a wonderful place to stay for a few days. Clean, centrally located , good choice for breakfast including freshly squeezed juice Plenty hot water and air con However the highlight had to be Huyen, the fabulous lady who owns this with her husband. She goes out her way to make sure you see her part of the world, are happy with everything and tells you all about her family and history. She is warm and so welcoming She arranged a driver for a day to take us to various places. A Malaysian couple came to stay too and she hooked us up for the day. This made for a very fun day getting to know them Google translate is how Huyen communicates and she doesn’t well. Please stay here if you get the chance

Great stay, lovely family loved the upper balcony to relax after full packed days of hiking and visiting. Mom was very friendly and her laughter was contagious. Her son spoke English and seemed to check I often to see if all was good. Highly recommend this place for its comfort and cleanliness and kindness.

Je recommande cet établissement qui est très bien situé, à côté du lac. La famille est très gentille, nous avons été très bien accueillies. La nourriture est très bonne. Les chambres sont très confortables et propres

Wir verbrachten drei Nächte im Homestay und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die beiden Gastgeber sind sehr nett und freundlich. Wir konnten einen Roller mieten und den Wäscheservice nutzen. Fahrräder gibt es auch zum mieten. Die Unterkunft ist günstig und sauber. Viele Restaurants sind direkt um die Ecke, die Lage ist trotzdem sehr ruhig.
