Premier Inn Hitchin Town Centre

Hitchin premier inn , What a perfect location…!! Easily accessible to a lovely town , restaurants shopping and bars Front desk staff James was so helpful and really ensured we were well taken care of during our stay !! We will definitely be back , thank you James !!!!

I stayed at Premier Inn recently and, unfortunately, had a few issues during my stay. The air conditioning wasn’t working, and the room was uncomfortably hot. Although there was a window, it couldn’t be opened, which made things worse. The bed didn’t feel very clean—I found a few small black bugs, which was quite off-putting. On a positive note, the staff were friendly and helpful, and overall, the experience was okay despite these issues. ps: if you want to have a good Wi-Fi you need to pay extra !!

I was warmly welcomed by a young woman named Emma, who greeted me with a lovely smile. She wasn’t in uniform, so I wasn’t sure if she was a manager, but she was an absolute delight and kindly directed me to my room, making it easy to find. The room itself was a bit dated and could benefit from some renovations, but overall, it was a comfortable stay. I had breakfast on Monday morning, and it seemed that only one person was managing both reception and the restaurant. However, the chef, whose name I didn’t catch, was also assisting in the restaurant and was incredibly kind. Abi, who was on reception, was especially lovely. She wished me a safe journey home, knowing I had a long trip ahead, and even gave me a little chocolate as I was leaving. She is truly a credit to your team! I’ll definitely be returning to Hitchin very soon!

Lovely hotel, rooms are very spacious with big windows. The food at breakfast is very nice. Staff are friendly and helpful. The one drawback is that the bed needed a bigger bottom sheet as it didn't fit very well. The hotel is also in a lovely location. Would recommend.

Stayed in Hitchin Premier inn, located right in the center of Hitchin. Lovely, clean and quiet hotel. Claire checked us in. Professional, kind and gave us some local directions. Later, James went above and beyond and kindly kept the bar open so we can enjoy drinks after our family function. Highly recommended!

The buck toothed manager took a moment to stop eating an apple through a tennis raquet and became very belligerent and hostile due to a simple and polite request. Will never go here again and instead will go to the one in Letchworth where the staff are courteous and accommodating. How someone like this became involved in hospitality beggars belief.
