Lovely small and friendly hostel in a very good location within Hiroshima. Easy to get to from Hiroshima main station (just get off at Shin-Hakushima station and take a short walk). Mako (the owner) is very welcoming and even offered a free welcome drink! She gave great advice on where to eat as well, letting us know about a great breakfast place as well as a really good place to try okonomiyaki (a must in Hiroshima). It was very easy to meet other travellers as well. The hostel is clean, quiet and the facilities are really good. It is also well located to see the Hiroshima Peace Park (about 10-15 minutes walk) and Miyajima Island (just take the train from Shin-Hakushima station to Miyajimaguchi station and take the ferry from there). Overall this is definitely one of the best hostel stays I've had!
