"Awesome! A truly terrible experience. The elevator was constantly broken, forcing us to use the stairs. The rooms were old and outdated. There was no assistance with luggage (not sure if a hotel of this level even offers this?), no room cleaning (they said they asked me when I checked in, but my friend and I are certain they didn't ask). Not even a smile of welcome was offered. It was almost 11 pm and we couldn't order food from the hotel. I ate my own pizza in the lobby, but the staff told me I couldn't eat my own food. I couldn't even order drinks from my own food, and they even called security to remove us. (The staff member later explained that their policy is that food is allowed after 10:30 PM, but she probably didn't realize it was almost 11 PM when I ate.) I asked her to produce the rules, but she refused, saying her rules are the rules. And it's okay for white people to eat their own McDonald's. I can't imagine how a hotel full of tourists could be so unreasonable and arrogant. I complained to Hilton, and they told me they would let the hotel handle it. I didn't receive any further inquiries or responses for several days."

"They offer free luggage storage if you arrive early, which is a plus. The downside is that the room is very old and there's no air conditioning. It was incredibly hot when I visited in late June. I had to keep the curtains drawn during the day and leave the door open to cool down and get some air circulation."

"Tremendous space & person! I arrived late (after 8pm) as a surprise for my Family Reunion & so after dinner. The caretaker met me kindly after I got into the door (clear & simple instructions were given) to help me to get my bearings, carry my 2 carryons to my room & lead me to my room. He also provided a cold bottle of water, MUCH appreciated! I found the place to be very clean, spacious & well-organized with simple instructions in the bathroom, kitchen & shared spaces. I appreciate the simplicity & cleanliness, while still giving me my space! TY again for this last-minute booking that turned into a true treasure for myself as an introvert needing space, cleanliness & simplicity. Mahalo & May ke Akua bless U always! Dawn"

"The most disappointing accommodation in this trip. I checked in late and it took me a long time to call the receptionist. The room has no air conditioning and the breakfast is not delicious. It is said to have a sea view, but the location is close and the sea cannot be seen in the room. There is no place to have breakfast. As you can see, the appearance of the room looks good in the picture, but from a close look it lacks maintenance and is unpopular. Booked based on ratings, not reliable."

"The house has two levels. We stayed in the upper level of the house. There is no AC in this house. Some places may need repairs. They also rented the lower level to another group. Other than these everything else is okay. I’ve learned a lesson on not to stay in a house that does not have air conditioning in the hottest period of the year, even in Hawaii."
