Travelodge London Stockley Park Hayes

Hotel lacks experienced interested staff. Rooms not properly serviced and supplies of essential items not available. Disappointing stay.

Not a great experience all round. Booked two double rooms and a family room for 7 of us. On arrival we checked in and when we got to our room there was no normal tea in our room so had to go back to reception and ask for some. The lock on my daughter's room didn't work at all and she had to repack her stuff and leave it all in our room as it didn't get sorted by reception before we left for the party which meant that anybody could access her room. My mother's room smelt like poo and we had to call reception to go and spray air freshener to improve it. I asked for a dairy milk alternative for my room (to have tea) and was told they didn't have any. We then waited ages at the bar, again being told there was no Guinness, waiting ages for tea and for someone who knew what they were doing to make a cocktail. Unfortunately it didn't end there. Breakfast in the morning was also a shambles. Three of us are vegan and therefore we're quite limited to what we could eat. There were tasteless Quorn sausages, beans, tomato, hash browns and mushrooms as well as toast, only they had no mushrooms left apparently. There was no exotic fruit either, no maple syrup for the extremely dry and cold American pancakes, so essentially nothing but jam to put on them. They ran out of cups, glasses, cutlery and plates and the bacon and sausages were also only being topped up sporadically. I was actually embarrassed that we'd arranged to meet all our local family there to eat and for a last minute meet up before we journeyed home. Awful . Won't be booking a Travelodge again. My second experience and both as bad as each other.

Excellent location clean and great customer service. I went to stay for 2 nights solo to enjoy the river and the greenary. Absolutly loved it! Will visit again more often with family and friends. Can't wait to come back during summer! But one advise, please get the AC fixed by then because the windows don't open.

Super… had to complete some important work and chose this location… very businesslike environment all around and it put me in the right frame of mind. Completed my work successfully after my eventual checkout and setting up an office workstation in the lovely picturesque lounge of the reception lobby. I will return. Very pleased with the rooms and lifts and corridors too. Was received upon arrival by a brilliant lady called Destiny…. She also gave me the info on great restaurants in the area. Its one of my best Travelodge stays ever! Thanks guys!

Firstly, I will say this issue is possibly fairly unique in that 4 rooms I was offered had unmade beds and hairs in the sheets In a nutshell I was offered a room with the bed unmade, sheets were not tucked in, bodily hairs were in the bed and on the duvet. Staff member came to view the room with me, viewed the bed, took photos and offered me another room. Together we checked 4 rooms all on the same floor in a row, all had the same bad issue. On the 5th room I was told there were no more free so would have to take it. This bed also had hairs a few on the duvet but it was clear it had not been made. Bathroom had hairs in the shower and toilet not flushed. In the morning after sleeping for probably 2/3 hours due to the issue I couldn't get hold of anyone on reception so left. I called the manager later that day Gina who agreed she'd been passed the message about my stay, seen the photo's. It was I who had to raise the issue of a full refund. I was told she'd look into it and call me back, she did not. I called her again that day to be told I had to call customer services and sort it out myself, I did so only to be told it had to be done by email. After calling back Gina the manager she eventually agreed to contact customer services on my behalf to action a refund, again she said she'd call me back with the outcome and did not. I had waited 2 days before posting this to give them ample time to call me as I'm not really one for complaining. I now feel the customer service I have had is as bad as the night itself. I have personally emailed customer service regarding this issue to attempt to resolve this myself. What I will say to prospective customers is in my opinion it is not a great service, would I book again, never. Would I encourage others, never. Find a better hotel that will offer you a brilliant service and least of all a clean bed. Thumbs down for this one on all counts!

Had a fabulous stay at Stockley made even better by the amazing staff Violeta in the kitchen and Anna in housekeeping such a lovely lady and how can we forget about the glamorous hotel manager Lewis having a good staff really does transform every visit
