You will be 24 miles from Ocala, and 2.5 miles away from the small town Hernando in Citrus county. You are about 20 miles from Crystal river, and Homosassa rivers as well. If you vacationed here, you could get the best of both worlds in this unique area, doing fresh water fishing one day, and salt water the next as you are so close the these rivers, where the manatees and scallops are.
