ITH Los Angeles Beach Hostel

It was safe and quiet - last time I was there it was so noisy from the bands in the area, but maybe the city put in some noise rules now. Right on the beach, can't beat the price!

The staff were all very friendly and helpful, I had a private room to myself and the bed was nice and cozy, the inside of the building has a bunch of beautiful mural spainted on the walls. They even have a poster board in the hallways with restaurant and coffee suggestions and bus routes to the major areas nearby. They had pamphlets and maps available. I wish I could have stayed longer.

What a great find. Awesome staff, friendly guests, great breakfast- yes, it is on the pier in hermosa and there is a lively nightlife. They give you earplugs, if you want them. I loved this Place.

Can't beat the location and active nightlife and beach activities all around the area! Great price for the experience!

I needed a quick and affordable getaway to the beach one weekend, and this was the perfect spot. It’s walking distance the pier of Hermosa beach, and the sunset there is absolutely gorgeous. The bars are still open until 2am, so you can grab a drink or something to eat, then walk safely back to your room. This hostel is right above a bar, so please keep that in mind. I stayed on a Saturday night and they had very loud music playing until 2AM. I was on the third floor and I still felt the vibrations on my bed. I went on this trip as a solo-female, but if I went with a friend, I definitely would have danced and enjoyed myself at the bar downstairs. Besides the noise at nights, parking was about half a mile away. I would suggest packing lightly if you plan to park your car because the trek is uphill. I didn’t mind too much because I didn’t have a lot of stuff with me and the weather and ocean breeze was incredibly nice. They have socialization activities, but unfortunately, I didn’t attend them. Next time I will definitely be open to joining them.

A fantastic hostel that is in an incredible location right next to the beach. Had the private room and it was affordable and had incredible views and a super comfortable bed and pillows. Staff was super friendly and the vibes were great!
