Harbour House Hotel

給我們安排的是副樓，副樓不在酒店內，在過馬路之後的另外一個商業街樓上！下雨天吃個早飯都要打傘過馬路，超級不方便。房間裏有一股味道，感覺就是陳舊不通風的味道，打開窗會有海腥味… 到酒店大概8:50，附近餐廳9點會官廚房的情況下，這個酒店前台騙我們説他們前台9:30要下班，所以讓我們先check in，導致我們最後啥都吃不到，衹能大半夜開好幾公里去買麥當勞 第二天早上找經理投訴，整體感覺經理就是偏袒着員工，在明知道昨天員工撒謊的情況下，就是説一下會教育的；能明顯感受到主要服務對象是白人，以及他們對中貴人亞裔態度的差異，整個酒店就我們一間中國客人；然後我們的爭執被經過的白人關注，酒店經理才答應讓員工給我們道歉（拍了一下最後個不負責任的經理名牌）

Stayed here for 2 nights in March. One of the only places we could find with a pool where the sun loungers also look out over the sea. Lovely hotel, staff all helpful. Welcome drink and afternoon tea are a nice touch. Some rooms are in a building just across the street - this is where we were and they were absolutely fine, but ask when booking if this is important to you. Our room was a good size, had separate bath and shower, and doors to a shared terrace where you could see a bit of the sea. If you can afford it I’d splash out on a sea view room with balcony in the main hotel. The only opportunity for improvement in my opinion is the cooked breakfasts. Breakfast was a good selection (continental and cooked to order), but the cooked was no where near the standard we came to expect whilst in South Africa - my omelette one morning tasted very strong of vinegar (I think they used mushrooms in brine) and I also tried eggs benedict, but the hollandaise was split and had then been sat under a heat lamp I think as a skin had formed. We stayed on a last min offer/deal and would def stay again if we can find a similar offer should we return to hermanus

We originally booked a room at another Hotel in Hermanus and it was a very unpleasant experience. We approached the Harbour House reception on a Sunday afternoon, they were so polite and assisted us immediately. Our room was decorated in rose petals, beautiful bath towel Swans and a bottle bubbly. The room was clean, modern and smelled nice. The rest of our stay was filled with kind, friendly staff and the breakfast was so tasty. Truely a breakaway worth to remember. Thank you, Harbour House. You made our stay special.
