I write this review with deep disappointment and frustration after our recent experience at Misty Waves. As frequent business guests — with five stays between December 2024 and June 2025 — we expected a basic level of professionalism and courtesy, especially in times of crisis. Unfortunately, the way our situation was handled on the day of our departure was completely unacceptable. What should have been a respectful and empathetic interaction turned into a shocking display of poor customer service. The front desk staff’s attitude was dismissive and unprofessional — a far cry from the standard one would expect from a hotel we had trusted multiple times in the past. Frequent guests, or any guests for that matter, should always feel valued and respected. Front-line staff must be trained to respond to challenging situations with calm, understanding, and professionalism. If unsure how to proceed, they should be empowered to seek guidance from senior management rather than mishandling the matter. What we experienced was not just disappointing — it was disheartening. The way we were spoken to and treated left a lasting negative impression, one we will not forget. Sadly, this has erased all the positive experiences we previously had with Misty Waves. Customer experience is ultimately defined by how people are made to feel — and in this case, we left feeling disrespected, unheard, and unappreciated. Because of this, we will not be returning to Misty Waves, and we sincerely hope no other guest has to go through what we did.
