First class stay very comfy very nice rooms very clean Breakfast very good Staff were very helpful nothing to much trouble Would definitely stay here again very close to town centre Only negative taxis were not very good so we drove in to town

Nice big room, very clean, friendly staff, plenty of free parking. Good selection for Breakfast, however no longer a beefeater pub so very limited evening menu and no draught beers or lagers, only a small selection of cans. 25 min walk to nearest restaurant/bar

We've stayed in many Premier Inns and although this wasn't an awful experience, it's certainly the worst one we've stayed in by far. Previous reviews mentioned the hotel being dated which we don't mind, but this needed a full refurbishment, deep clean and complete overhaul throughout. All of the staff seemed like they didn't really want to be there. We weren't warmly and professionally greeted by any of the staff we interacted with. The room was incredibly dated, as were the general communal areas and corridors. Lots and lots of wear and tear everywhere. Doorways looked like they'd been hacked at. The shower was either scalding hot or cold, even with very minor adjustments there was no in-between. This is incredibly dangerous, especially if children were to use it. I was burned by this it was that hot. Was planning on mentioning this at check out but nobody was there when we actually departed. We didn't spend a huge amount of time in the room after check in, so were shocked during the night to be woken up multiple times by the radiator clicking/rattling very loudly, which we were unable to stop. It was startling and loud enough that it sounded like someone was opening the door to our room. Also the chair in the room was very hard and very squeaky, obviously needs replacing. We had a free unlimited breakfast offer which was good but would have felt ripped off if we'd paid full price for it. The breakfast wasn't added onto our booking for some reason, so the uninterested receptionist had to spend a few minutes finding this upon check in. Breakfast was lukewarm at best and the restaurant itself was very small, cramped and hard to navigate. We were made aware via email that there were refurbishments taking place, which was clearly well overdue, but signs weren't updated to show where the toilets were located. No staff to be seen to ask for help to find them, although we eventually did.

The room is a lot older than other premier inns, very basic almost travelodge esc, will do for one night sleep but I would spend nights at other premier inns and I wouldn’t choose to come to this one again it needs dramatically updating. A lot of other premier inns if a regular stayer will give the wifi code for free for as a courtesy and are very friendly, whereas this one has not been the same in fact I found the receptionist quite stuck up and stingy about it recommending me to use the free one like I haven’t been here and other premier inns where the phone signal is weak and the free wifi is enough to scroll but not to watch programs on a laptop… eventually I got the ultimate wifi but had to pay £5 which I know is the price but rarely have I just not been offered it. Then what made me write this review, the restaurant. I don’t know who decided to take the average restaurant of beefeater away but when announced I expected maybe better in house cooking instead it seems a money grab, I genuinely expect prisoners have better food options. There are roughly 8 main meals on the menu and they offer the bare minimum of a vegetarian choice, I am not vegetarian and wanted to steak but this has been removed from the menu, I have an allergy to poultry and fish, so my choices were left to Mac and cheese, bolognese or pizza. The pizzas from others tables looked greasy and not good quality. And so I opted for the bolognese only to be told when it came out they don’t have cheese in the kitchen which I would expect if carbonra or bolognese or perhaps 70% of Italian pasta dishes are served with cheese or offer cheese once served. The taste of the bolognese was similar to that of a Tesco or Asda ready meal… without cheese made that taste a lot worse. The chips were also bland and some were burnt and others were soggy at the bottom of the bowl. It seems like whatever you can get away serving for as cheap as possible is the philosophy here and it genuinely was the worst restaurant I’ve eaten at. I haven’t ever written a review, so for it to be this bad for me to write my first is saying something.

It was a great nights sleep but I had had a very busy day with long drive also. So I was knackered. The hotel it’s self looks tired but once inside it was fine. The check in was quick and staff friendly but the room was not great there was a smell of damp and after moving the curtains in the morning there was mould showing on the walls and skirting . As it was just a one night stay it seamed pointless to complain. The restaurant bar was shut at times as it was being renovated, which was a pain.

Ci serviva un hotel vicino alla mia famiglia con un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo… e l’abbiamo trovato… vicino al centro di Hereford ma non troppo, caldo con ottimi doccia e letto .. parcheggio grande e gratuito.. staff gentile e disponibile …
