Horrible hair dryer. have to push a button. For me it took over an hour. finger so sore. i have thick curly hair to blow dry. no full length mirror annoying. i am 5 feet tall very hard with glasses -7 to reach mirror in bathroom. The floors need to be refinished. Room 118. no phone no usb to charge. Over priced for quality. hard bed. It was close to castle and old town walk around. Restaurant. next to it expensive but worth it. Staff super friendly. We had no wifi. couldnt plan our trip for rest of week. they didn offer the town free wifi found out about later. i would choose different next time the cost 223 canadian. just not worth it. lots of stairs.

Ein Brett als Bett😁 Für mich war die Matratze viel zu hart, praktisch ein Brett. Ich hatte auch kein Zimmer in der Kulturbrauerei sondern in ein komplett anderen Gebäude in einer anderen Straße. Im Sommer mag das evtl. noch ok sein….. Preis/Leistung für mich nicht wirklich ok. Prinzipiell aber Sauber und freundlich. Positiv: mitten in der Altstadt.

Perfect location for a stay in the Altstadt. The beer is so fresh and unique and the rooms are comfortable and clean. I would recommend for anyone wanting to explore Heidelberg. I'll be back.

Es gibt so viele nette Hotels,- dieses gehört definitiv nicht dazu. Die Zimmer haben nicht nur den Charm einer Jugendherberge, sondern sind auch unerträglich laut, weil im Biergarten bis minestens 23 Uhr herumgeschrien wird, als wäre man auf dem Volksfest und auch das Personal zu einerlei Rücksichtsnahme bereit ist. Also für Geschäftsreisen oder Menschen, die ein wenig Schlaf benötigen, nicht empfehlenswert.

The room was too warm, the bathroom cold and we could hardly open the windows to get fresh air cause of noise directly under our windows until 2.00 a.m. and from 7.00 a.m. Saturday. The window doesn’t function as well. Hard night!

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt, super Frühstück

This hotel is very clean and comfortable on a great location. We were walking distance to everything we wanted to do. The restaurant was the best part. We appreciated that breakfast was included during our stay and it was perfecly nice, but we especially loved having lunch and dinner at their restaurant or simply coming back from a day of walking to have a beer and a pretzel. We had some very nice meals in various restaurants around the town, but KulturBrauerei was such a fun experience with such great food that we kept wanting to come back.

We stayed in September 2021 in a suite with an outside terrace and fantastic views towards the castle. The room was very comfortable and clean. The hotel is only a short walk from the river and the town centre, is set off a cobble street and has its own cobbled courtyard with outside seating for the restaurant. There is parking under the hotel with a lift to the rooms above. The food was excellent, as was the beer that's brewed onsite. Thoroughly recommended.

Charming hotel in a great location in the Altstadt. Walking distance to plenty of restaurants, cafes, stores and attractions. The room was relatively spacious and uncluttered, and was well-maintained. It’s a small boutique hotel, so not loaded with amenities if you are looking for that. The restaurant serves traditional regional German cuisine and was excellent, and while I am not much of a beer drinker, I found their beer to be great and a perfect complement to the meals. A couple of things to note - not air conditioned (at least my room wasn’t) which was not an issue during my visit as temperatures were mild, and cars cannot pull right up to the hotel entrance so if you have a ton of luggage you will have to lug it a 1/3 or 1/2 block over those cobblestones …
