Only stayed one night and really enjoyed the experience. Excellent dinner as well as breakfast. Would certainly recommend to friends.

The reception and organization are fantastic, the staff are helpful and kind, I recommend trying it.

We stayed in the Luxury Suite at Garden Route Game Lodge, and it was beyond our expectations. The room was beautiful, spacious, had a great layout, and had the most amazing view of the reserve. Every little detail in the room felt thoughtful and well done. I especially loved the outdoor bathtub! The resort provided bath salts and bubbles to top off the experience! The game drives were incredible. We saw animals every single time we went out. Our favorite were the cheetahs! Our guide, Janco, was fantastic and always on the lookout for the animals. He was super knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. He shared fun facts, answered all of our questions, and made the whole experience amazing and memorable. If you can request a guide, choose Janco! You won’t regret it! The lodge provided breakfast and dinner. You received a menu of many options to choose from, and everything we had was delicious! The staff in the restaurant were friendly and always welcoming! I went to the spa and received a massage and a facial! Both were incredible! The spa team was so kind and made me feel really comfortable. Definitely worth the money! This trip was something we’ll never forget. If you’re thinking about booking a safari, we can’t recommend Garden Route Game Lodge enough. You won’t regret it!

The place is wonderful — romantic, luxurious, and intimate. The staff are incredibly elegant, warm, and welcoming. The restaurant is amazing, and the safari was like a dream, as if you were inside a movie. The balcony view felt like a dream — everything was unbelievably perfect.

We stayed as a family with two kids ages 10 and 12 and did the full board which I highly recommend. Many other game reserves does not include game drives but this was phenomenal for the price. Staff was friendly, food was amazing, we saw animals up close even Cheetahs and it was a wonderful experience. Best value for your money for sure and we have been on many all over the western and eastern cape.
