Firs Farm B&B

Stayed 2 nights at this fantastic B&B. The hosts are so welcoming and friendly, the house is immaculate and beautifully furnished. Our room was spacious with a very comfortable bed and separate bathroom. Breakfast was also lovely with a great selection of choices. I cannot reccomend this B&B enough. It was a joy to stay at.

We received a very warm and genuine welcome from Sarah as soon as we arrived at Firs Farm. After walking in the rain all day Sarah helped us dry all our wet clothes and made us a huge pot of tea and cakes served in front of the roaring log fire. Our room was very comfortable, warm and spotlessly clean, there were huge fluffy white towels in the bathroom, there were also dressing gowns and slippers. Breakfast was served in the dining room overlooking the farm, there was a nice selection of items on the buffet table, fruit juice, yogurts, various cereals and fresh fruit and all hot items were cooked to order and was first class. Sarah has a wealth of knowledge regarding the surrounding area, walks, places to eat and visit and she makes the best flapjack I’ve ever had! This bed and breakfast is outstanding and I would highly recommend it and we will certainly be returning in the future.

The welcome was exceptionally warm and got even better when tea and cakes were proposed - a great start to the stay. Large, comfortable rooms with views over the Yorkshire Dales. Sarah was particularly helpful in reserving a restaurant for us. The bathroom was nice and spacious. Overall, we found the interior decoration to be tastefully done throughout the house. Breakfast included some delicious local produce with eggs from the farm.
