Norfolk Accommodation

из плюсов наличие холодильника (больше ничего относящегося к кухне нет), из минусов слабый континентальный завтрак и великоватые для меня подушки, но основной минус - это отсутствие Wi-Fi в номере

Stayed on campsite post lockdown. Brilliant location and lovely relaxed atmosphere to the site. Even had chickens roaming round and where I parked could watch hare's jumping about in the field. As it gets dark at night, not much light pollution, the sky was amazing

Possibly the worst place we have ever stayed in. On arriving we drove past twice thinking we had the wrong place but no this was it...... not a welcoming entrance. Building works in progress??? Our room (The Woodshed) looked nice on entrance although cold and dusty. No where to hang clothes, but hey ho. We changed and went to find the beach which is only a couple of minutes walk. On the way looking at the building next to ours .... a derelict building, not a good look, building materials everywhere and not another person around. During the night... around 2.30 I could hear a noise and thought someone was trying to get in so was wide awake holding my breath and listening (as you do) it stopped for a while and then started again.... Rats in the ceiling and cavity walls, so loud it woke my husband so we spend the rest of the night listening to the rats running around the cottage. Shocked and a little scared we brushed it out of our mind the next morning and went to find breakfast..... so .... breakfast is in a cold soulless wooden room... do it yourself, tea coffee toast and cereal, although no milk for the cereal, none in the fridge and no one around to ask. The bin was overflowing with rubbish too. So just toast then. . So... bedtime arrived and so did the rats..... another sleepless night. So up early , packed and left. We were booked to stay 3 nights but no way was I staying another night

On facilities alone we would have rated it 1 star, however, the location and the staff bumped it up to a 4. It is very basic, however improvements are underway, so hopefully next time we visit we’ll make it a 5 star review. The location is outstanding, we saw barn owls, deer and all manner of different birds. The beaches were fabulous and went on for miles. I’ve read some mixed reviews, especially about the owner, however we found him a really nice, friendly, helpful guy. Always stopping for a chat on his rounds and offering suggestions for places to go. His team, especially Blaze, were very hardworking and friendly. Heacham is a lovely village, with all the amenities you need and Hunstanton was a nice 50 minute walk along the beach. It was overpriced, however we would go back.

Over night get away. Myself and partner just had the one night away, great set up, accommodation was excellent, quaint and very clean and comfortable. Nigel(the host) was a pleasure to meet and nothing was an issue for him should there of been one. If anyone is thinking of booking here, you won’t be disappointed.

Spent 4 nights here and had the best time. The Barn had everything we needed to make our stay cosy and comfortable. It’s close to the beach where we walked daily and saw the most amazing sunset. I don’t think we’d like to stay in the height of the season - purely because it’d be too peoply due to the caravan sites nearby. That goes for most of the holiday spots in UK though. It’s just us being anti-social Carol and Nigel made us feel very welcome and are making a lovely little oasis for some r&r. We intend to return in the Autumn. The sound of the cockerel in the morning is so lovely and reminds you that you’re in the country! I’ve lived on a farm before and it was a perfect reminder. Keep doing what you’re doing. We’ve had the perfect escape and recharged our batteries. Thank you
