Lovely Hotel. My room was clean and comfortable. Check in was easy and front desk clerk was friendly. The location is perfect within walking distance to Southern Miss, which is why I chose this hotel over the usual brand of hotel that I prefer. However, I will never ever stay here again. My son is a student at USM. He was treated extremely poorly by a man that identified himself as the general manager. When my son came in the lobby and sat down to wait for me, this man demanded to know why he was there, wanted to know what my name was, and accused him of trespassing! I assume that my son did not foot the profile of the type of person the general manager wants in the hotel! My son is a clean cut college student who walked in to meet his mom to go have a meal close by. I am in shock that anyone in the hospitality business would treat any person so unkindly. I have several trips planned to Hattiesburg over the next few months. Although this hotel is the ideal location and the hotel itself is very nice, my family and I will not ever stay here again! I do not want to be anywhere where my child is not welcome!

Stayed here with family during a family reunion weekend. First day we left room and asked housekeeping to clean the room. Returned room was not cleaned. Left later that evening and asked for room to be cleaned and returned that evening and room not cleaned. My father had a 3hr wait for his room to get cleaned after asking repeatedly . My sisters room was never cleaned despite being out all day and requesting it to be cleaned. When asked housekeeping said they forgot. When we returned to our room it was cleaned but no bath mat, no extra towels and no new TP or tissues. Never had this happen before. Called front desk after my husband was told at the front desk they could not access them right now (?) after making another call someone left a roll of Tp outside our door. Had to call again to get a box of tissues. Upscale decor cannot compensate for poor management.

In my room, the light above the shower did NOT work. There was damages to the sheet rock in the room. You could tell there was walls not flat due to the baseboard being super wavy. The panels that was for the ceiling were poorly installed with large gaps and two of the panels had oil stains on them. Around the shower, there is already showing water damage to the sheet rock. The furniture in the aesthetics of the room looked fine besides all the build quality issues.

I stayed at this hotel for business this past week and arrived at the hotel prior to check in time and staff was able to check me in early. This was amazing as I had been up since 3 am traveling. I was in awe at how nice the room was. High ceilings and the room turned completely pitch black when the curtains were closed. Close to a decent amount of restaurants and the hospital I was visiting for work. My only issue is if you are on the first floor you will hear people in the hallway in the mornings but other than that it was a great stay!

Very clean, modern and well decorated hotel. Check in was easy and they were friendly. Beds and bedding were very nice. Perfect all around. There is also a restaurant with bar and patio on site. We did eat there and it was very good. They do not serve breakfast, but many restaurants all around. It is in a new area near university. I reccomend!!

I’m over it. 2 nights at Indigo costing over 400 bucks all in. I’ve been coming here a few times a year since it’ was new. Family in area. Covid hits and things pull back . No maids, no towels. Etc But we re waaay past that now. Checked in last night. Spent all day w family. Came in at dark…. Bed tossed. Wet towels. On floor STILL NO MAIDS! I’m looking else where.

This hotel is a gem. I’ve stayed several times while on business in the area and I love the cozy vibe, spotless guest rooms, and professionalism of the staff. The nightly rates are consistently reasonable. It’s also surrounded by several trendy places to grab a quick bite to eat or something to drink within walkable distance. Would highly recommend Hotel Indigo to anyone planning a visit to the Hattiesburg area.

I always stay here when I visit my daughter Is the best hotel in the area Very little choice but most are very poor quality and don’t compare with this larger and professionally run hotel I recommend it

Easy to locate off Hardy Street. Connected to a shopping complex. Very large parking lot. Bar inside hotel snd very good BL L D restaurant next door. Walk to USM on Game Day and 2 blocks to Highway 49. Hardy Street is always a traffic jam.
