Chatsworth Hotel

Hotel is in a very nice place, walk out of the front door, cross the road and you are on the beach, (only get a sea view if you are lucky though, we got a view of some bins 🙃) parking near by and free overnight parking directly outside if you are lucky! The room is a good size however needs a lot of tlc. When we arrived there was tobacco on the bed sheets, neither of us smoke so was definitely there before. Walls are 2 different colours with holes all over them and questionable marks, carpet is threadbare in places, mould in bathroom. There is a tv and a kettle but no where to plug them in where they are and tv is mounted on wall so can't even move it to the plug. It was cheaper and I can now see why. Whole place needs a refurb as it was the same in corridors, peeling paper, chipped paint, thick dust on the lift. Definitely very tired and out dated

Great experience with both trip.com and the hotel itself. Had troubles with trains but trip.com we’re very helpful and very quick to help . The hotel we had a nice little room at the back of the building , mind you not a good view from the back but from front the lovely beach , the staff were very lovely and helpful with everything. Will definitely be going through both trip.com and chats worth again . Thank you for the experience

Our first time staying in a Premier Inn. Clean comfy bed, good value . Staff were excellent even though they were working over Christmas . Just a seamless experience . We would stay again. It is positioned so that it would be easy- ish access to the local tourist sites.

Choose this hotel it was close to the theatre. The hotel was lovely the room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean we had an amazing Seaview. katlyn the receptionist was friendly and helpful. We were lucky to park in front of the hotel and the cost of the parking was very reasonable.

Don't stay here unless you are skint or desperate. Apparently if you can see through the filthy windows, there is a view of the beach and the sea. This hotel was shoddy and unkempt, photograophs used to sell rooms areso far from reality it was laughable. The exterior of the building is badly maintained, dead flowers! Peeling paint, staff cigarette ends on front steps. Staff smoking out front. Inside smelt like musty old peoples home. Carpets terribly worn, Decor in reception, lift and room in poor condition. Lift dirty with paper stickers covering the buttons. Room dirty, sink cracked and blocked, tap loose, toilet seat loose (which I had to repair myself), shower was hot/cold with no control depending upon who was running water elsewhere in the building. Mastic sealant mildewed. Corroded metal work, rusty shower curtain rail. Bed low quaility like a straw matress. Terrible road noise. No aircon, no room phone, furniture in delapidated condition. The "Reception" was badly managed by people with language difficulties, and there was no manager to complain to.

Very disappointed with this hotel. From outside looks good and great location. Room was ok'ish. Shower needed to be turned on and left running before hot water arrived. Stingy with tea/ milk. In general the hotel looks run down but the real disappointment was the restaurant. All of the tables were covered with old plastic cloths. Ours had a tear in it. Everything stuck to the cloth, the saucers were a 2 handed job to seperate from the cloth. The teapot and our plates all stuck to the cloth. The all English was nothing special. A positive.. the staff were all very pleasant. In my opinion this hotel needs a good makeover, I certainly would not recommend and will not be staying there again.
