The Cloudesley

A very lovely place. Honoured to be in this special house with lovely furniture, artwork and beautiful garden. Rooms individual and very comfortable. Attentive host who will cook a delicious breakfast. A true gem, Thank you and we will be back.

First experience of a B&B in St Leonard’s so hoped it would be as good as reviews indicated. We were not disappointed. A truly gorgeous B&B, with exceptional furnishings, especially the bed and pillows. The owner, Shahriar is a delightful and charming host. He prepared a delicious breakfast including a starter of various fruits, nothing was too much trouble, refills etc. If we return to St Leonard’s, we would definitely want to stay there again! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Really friendly staff, who even offered to drive us back to station on our departure. Great breakfast, comfy & clean room with lots of cupboard space. Quiet location, not far from station, beach, and nice restuarants in up-and-coming St Leonard's.

Hard to fault, this is a well run and charming guest house in a lovely and very quiet location near St Leonards Station. Breakfasts are a highpoint, and we were there when the fig trees were ripe and they were part of the meal! Free on street parking, clean and airy rooms. Highly recommended!

What a find!.. As we approached the place, the ordinary unassuming front of the building betrays nothing of what lay within. The Cloudesley has personality in spades, each room has its own character and the ambiance is really special. We only stayed at the Cloudesley for 1 night although I wish it were more. It is clean and quiet with a fantastic feel.. the decor is amazing and our breakfast was glorious.. our host Shahriar was an absolute delight, he was super helpful and his recommendation of where to eat was exquisite. A must stay for anybody looking for a hidden gem on the S.Coast.
