A beautiful comfortable Inn. The atmosphere was so relaxing and calm. The breakfast, which was included, was unexpected and delicious, served in a room filled with beautiful antiques. The pool was warm and inviting. The staff was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Great location in a quiet neighborhood but close to beaches, restaurants and shops . If steps are a concern for you, check with management. There may be rooms that do not require steps but some do. I highly recommend this Inn and would stay here again.

The Winstead Inn, (the location in town) as well as the beach location are fabulous resorts. Check-in is easy and the staff is extremely friendly. They provide a lovely buffet in the morning. Rooms are immaculate and you will have everything you need, including an abundance of towels. I especially enjoyed my visit to the Inn, this time. Don't think twice about booking !!!...Will definitely enjoy either resort.

We enjoyed the ocean views and setting, the room was adequate but felt they could have cleaned the room daily without having to place a reminder on the door each day. We also felt the breakfast could have been more robust. The scenery and area was great and the location could not be beat, but the balance was just ok.

I do NOT like bed and breakfasts. The Winstead changed my entire perspective. I called at the last minute as a solo guest to a wedding in the area. They were kind, helpful and accommodating. I arrived at 2am after a 6 hour drive and it felt like coming home as soon as I pulled into the driveway (parking lot). I walked out of my room and on to the beach and then walked down the street to have brunch and shop downtown. I could not have asked for a better experience.

The Winstead Beach Resort is hands down our preferred destination when on the Cape! My only disappointment is having to leave and come back to reality! Truly a heaven on earth vibe with incredible panoramic ocean views inside our room (#8) as well as the dining area! Friendly staff and Doug is the absolute best of the best when it comes to running a top of the line establishment! I recommend 10,000 stars 5 is not enough! Thank you to Doug for providing such a wonderful escape from the world for us at the Winstead Beach Resort! On our frequent return list for sure!!!!!!

Mother, daughter granddaughter weekend
The weekend was perfect. My daughter and I have been going here for over 30 years and this year I brought my 15 year old granddaughter. We had a fabulous time, from walks on the beach, to shopping to dinners. The weather was perfect as well. Can't say enough about this charming inn. If you get the chance, please take the opportunity to stay here.

Lovely place to stay with familily or just as a couple. The service was on point, everybody from the staff was kind and helpfull. The room was cozy and charming. We took our breakfast near the beach in the morning and it was just gorgeous. Would recommend!
