Grand Airport Ensuites

SCAM! TOTAL WASTE OF 53 POUNDS! Didn't stay. No hotel at location; just a banged-up looking house with nailed curtains, and overflowing rubbish bins outside; no contact from hotel, no way to check in, nobody present to address the situation; NON-REFUNDABLE payment in full in advance is for a reason; wasted money completely!! £53 I shan't get back, plus the massive inconvenience of trying to find somewhere else in a hurry and pay again for that! Not amused.

They did not inform me of the location until a few hours before I arrived, and it was further from the airport than I expected, with no public transport, and 40 pound cab ride each way. It would have been cheaper and more pleasant to stay at an official airport hotel Numerous problems with the room, let me count the ways: Going up steep staircase with a lot of luggage Room was cold even with heater on maximum, somebody had left the window open in late December and the room was freezing upon arrival and hardly warmed up even after turning the heater on. Towel heater did not work. No tea making facility in room ...iron was provided which i did not need (am i supposed to iron my tea bags?) TV in room had no remote, could not be turned on, not even sure if it was connected to anything. Only one pillow per person on the bed. Shelf in front of the mirror was missing (brackets were there). No soundproofing so airport noise was loud (an official airport hotel would have soundproofing) Bed was a bit small even for queen size Gravel driveway and broken concrete path made it difficult to get my bags in from the street

Un lugar lamentable, nunca mas!!! Muy mala experiencia, no se como se atreven a llamase Graind Airport Ensuites, Es una casa frente al aeropuerto subdividida en varias habitaciones, muy ruidosas y incomodas. Según la descripción tenia transporte hasta el aeropuerto, pero finalmente es un servicio con cargo por reservar un taxi, lamentable. Y esa es solo una de las condiciones que no cumplen.

Not great. It wasn’t great! The heating was stuck on and it was too hot and so we had to have windows open and listen to aeroplanes taking off and landing. There was no shower gel, only hand wash where it should have been, the ironing board had come off of the wall and was being kept in the cupboard with massive sharp screws sticking out of it… We called customer service for some advise with parking and they said they would call us back but didnt…. Should have paid an extra tenner and stayed at the premier inn.

Horrible. The name of the the ensuites sounded good. I signed the conditions sheet. We took a taxi to the place and it looks like a run down house. We didn't get the code to get in so stood outside in the snow storm and wind trying to get ahold of someone. We finally got in and then couldn't find room 3. We finally figured that out. The bed was clean but mattress was horrible. More like a hide-a-bed and not comfortable at all. We were half crippled in the morning. It did have a kitchenette but it was not very inviting. We did not take showers. Our room was really cold so we sat in the kitchenette and had some snack where there was heat. The blinds in the bedroom were broken and didn't cover the whole window. Not very private.
