"My reviews are 100% truthful but if something is wrong I will mention it. We had arrived at a holiday cottage 300 metres away which was filthy and dirty so could not stay there. We called Pattra, the owner, and fortunately she could accommodate us that night. Was not sure what to expect. This place has to be one of the very best places I have stayed. Fabulous.Nothing whatsoever was too much trouble for Pattra. The rooms were perfect down to the most minute detail. Everything was spotless and 5 star. Pattra could not do enough for us. What an amazing host! We spent the evenings in the bar which was lovely meeting some of the regulars. We were made so welcome so I will not look anywhere else when visiting the area again. It would be a total waste of time and disappointing to stay anywhere else! Thank you Pattra for making my Wife's Birthday so memorable!"

"I arrived at the hotel early evening, it was in complete darkness, no lights on anywhere, not even the car park. It looked closed/shut down. A man opened the front door with just the reception light on, he struggled to speak English, I could barely understand him. He told me the hotel was closed and just I would be staying alone at the hotel with only him, which as a solo female traveller I was very uncomfortable and felt very venerable with this situation. He did not understand why the booking had been taken, even if it was last minute. There was no heating or hot water. When he showed me the room (not the one I had booked), it was much smaller, there were a couple of heaters. I asked if the hotel lights would be turned on to be told only the stairs lights would come on if I walked through, not that I would be walking through the hotel or car park in darkness on my own! I told the man I was very uncomfortable with this situation and requested a refund, he said he understood why I would feel uncomfortable but could not offer a refund. I have tried contacting the hotel to request a refund, I am still waiting for a response."
