Sandalwood offers a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of the city outside. Everyone at the property is professional and friendly. Rosh and Anita ensure that one feels at home. Its a true paradise. The sleep quality is very peaceful. I felt well-rested when I was there. The gardens allows one to relax. Compliments to the chef for the lovely meals!

My stays at Sandalwood Lodge have consistently been exceptional, making it my go-to in Harare. The lodge distinguishes itself with its splendid rooms, offering a perfect blend of comfort and elegance. It’s the staff, however, that truly makes the experience unparalleled. Their remarkable kindness and dedication ensure every guest feels thoroughly welcome and cared for. A special mention must go to the resident chef, whose culinary skills turn every dinner into a memorable event. "A little paradise in Africa! The hosts were a pleasant surprise for me because they love Greece, and let's be honest, who doesn't love Greece and its beauties? So, in this earthly paradise, you will find a lovely breakfast with a very talented chef preparing dishes from their menu. The rooms are comfortable with very large beds, and overall, I believe you will really like it. The bathroom is spacious, clean every day, and the room as well. I washed all my clothes there because I was traveling to America the next day. As for the negatives, if you have an issue with insects like mosquitoes, it's good to close windows and doors; they kept me company, but wherever you go in the countryside, they exist. The internet is very bad; you should be close to the reception office. The third negative is the check-out time at 10 am, simply tragic. Honestly, this bothers me more than anything."

Difficult to say more than what has already been said. I love this place. Security is tight. Attentiveness is personalised. Grounds are perfectly maintained. I challenge you to find a better equivalent. I can't say all the names that made my stay wonderful, but in the list would be Rosh, Tory, Anita, Collen and Tatenda the marvellous chefs, Tatenda2, Ashley and everyone esle. If you are contemplating this place against another, choose this! You will NOT be disappointed! M.

Sandalwood Lodge is the best Lodge I ever stay in Harare even in the world, very nice place the rooms are excellent the service is very good the atmosphere is good for business or Vacation as well. the Lodge is very close to business center, government area.

Excellent quiet lodge, comfortable rooms, very good food (albeit very limited menu), friendly and helpful staff. Nice pool. For Zimbabwe, reasonable prices. Has charm, with a South African feeling to it.

Beautiful hotel/lodge with an exceptional care of the guests. The manager, the waitresses, the entire staff is friendly and does everything possible for their visitors. I have a full appreciation and recognition for the staff that helped us with a few problems (car, transportation,…). The place is very well maintained with a great attention to details (the manager has her eyes everywhere to be sure that everything is going well). Despite that, the place stays absolutely confidential and you enjoy your own corner without any annoyance. The rooms are fantastically equipped. I had the chance to stay in 2 different types of room: both were extremely enjoyable and the service along my 10 days there was mistake-less. I don’t think I am going to stay at any other place the next time I will be in Harare.

Beautiful residence! I was at Sandalwood 8 days on business. My first time back in Zim for 6 years, and oh what a pleasant surprise. The rooms are extremely comfortable, and well appointed. The communal spaces and gardens are peaceful, tranquil and delicately finished. I noticed a intricate attention to detail that could only have been accumulated over several years of a labour of love. Most of all, the staff were amazing. Always polite and attentive, from the kitchen staff, reception, management and security. I can't imagine staying anywhere else when in Zim. Thanks guys! Moses
