Willington Lodge

Willington Lodge is beautiful. Owners have taken their time and resources to invest in the property. The beds were very comfortable and it was clean. We had a good time and I highly recommend it. I loved their kitchen and dining room mostly. Not forgetting the hot tub. I usually prefer hotels but after this experience I think I will be going for Air b'n'b.

We had our wedding at Willington Lodge. It was the best day of our lives and it couldn't have gone any better. From start to finish Amelia and her team of suppliers were organised, thoughtful and efficient. Everything was perfect and if we could do it all over again we would do the exact same thing. Our guests got to stay in beautiful clean and tidy rooms and relax all weekend! Which was wonderful! We didn't feel rushed and got to enjoy every second of it. The tipi company that Willington recommended were amazing as well.

Sometimes you have a holiday that you just know will forever stay in your memory for a lifetime, our recent visit to Willington Lodge was one such holiday. If you want to feel special this is definitely the place to book! We booked for 18 of us to celebrate my wife’s 60th birthday, it really was a venue worthy of the celebration. We were extremely lucky with the weather which enabled us to use the grounds (which are extensive) to the full. The covered outside area is a real gem and a fabulous party area. But be aware if you wish to continue partying after 2200hrs then you have to retreat back inside the main house, The Aga is very easy to use and if you are cooking for many we would suggest curries or chilli, as the aga is perfect for something like that. For takeaways we found the 100 King in Whitchurch unbelievable, incredible value and quantity, would thoroughly recommend! The house is still used by the owners when not rented out but it doesn’t feel like it when staying, you feel as I’ve said before very special almost like the Lord of the Manor. Once you’ve booked look forward to your stay very much because you will not be disappointed!

We stayed at Willington for a long weekend to celebrate my dad's 70th Birthday. Wow, what can I say! The house is just perfect. The photos truly do not capture the warmth and homeliness of the beautiful venue. We booked directly through the venue over a year ago and have been assisted with any queries throughout. Communication has been wonderful and nothing too much trouble. The home has been very tastefully decorated and has a true feeling of luxury - high quality fabrics and furnishings. The house is equipped with anything you could possibly need... we brought all sorts with us to find we hadn't needed to. The covered outdoor space was an absolute corker of an area to socialise in as a big group- typically in the pouring rain of the Great British Summer. The gardens and grounds are beautifully landscaped and are evidently looked after meticulously. Thank you Willington for such a wonderful weekend with memories made to last us all a life time. We hope to visit again in the future 💗

Willington Lodge was a beautiful house. Pam, our hostess, was super warm and welcoming. It was a perfect location for our family gathering. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The grounds were beautiful. Looking forward to returning sometime in the near future.

Had the most beautiful stay at Willington Lodge… Pam is amazing and every room in the house the has the wow factor, the house is just perfect in every way.. we did not want to leave.. beautiful location.. honestly blown away by the place.. And home made cakes in arrival.. it was perfection in every way
