Nice rooms and cetral location just 300m to the metro

The hotel looks ok on the outside, lobby was modern and welcoming. Staff was friendly. However, they had to change our room because it smelled of cigarette smoke despite that I had asked for non-smoking during booking. The réception was quick to change us to a non smoking but it didn't have a mini fridge ( I thought that that was a basic set up in a hotel???). So I asked for a room with mini-fridge which we needed for medical reasons. They said that I have to pay extra to upgrade to a family room for that privilege. After the upgrade, we were dismayed to find that the room ac was not working properly at all. An hour into waiting within the room and it was still stuffy and hot like a sauna. It didn't help that outside was 39 deg Celsius. Finally had no choice to ask for technical assistance. They don't turn on the ac in the hallway. They open the windows to let in the hot air to aerate the hallway. I was really disappointed by this hotel. Staff was trying their best to assist but nothing much they can do when the infrastructure is lacking. The room didn't have enough furniture to allow us to unpack properly. Had to leave my suitcase on the floor . The toilet bowl was modern self flushing type though. We couldn't hang our clothes up when taking showers so had to put them next to the sink on top of a clean hand towel. And lastly, the shower stall was leaking at the bottom so floor was wet outside the stall after one shower. I truly hope that management can spend more than upgrade their hotel. Friendly staff can only do that much. Breakfast was pretty varied and ok by my standards though.

這次在杭州的住宿體驗太滿意了！選擇昊頤酒店南宋御街店絕對是明智的決定。 **地理位置無可挑剔！** 出門就是古色古香的南宋御街，晚上散步感受歷史韻味特別棒。步行幾分鐘就能到河坊街品嚐小吃、逛特色店鋪，去鼓樓、吳山廣場也超級近，遊玩景點省時省力，交通極其便利。 **酒店服務讓人倍感温暖。** 前台工作人員笑容親切，辦理入住高效，還熱情地提供了周邊遊玩和美食建議，有求必應。房間雖然不算特別大，但**乾淨整潔、設施齊全**，該有的都有（熱水、空調、WiFi都很給力），床鋪舒適，隔音效果不錯，休息得很好。裝修簡約實用，環境安靜。 **性價比超高！** 在這個黃金地段，能以這樣的價格享受到如此便利的位置、乾淨的環境和貼心的服務，真的物超所值！無論是自由行還是家庭出遊，這裏都是非常靠譜的選擇。下次來杭州，一定會再次入住，也誠意推薦給朋友們！

Even though they gave us a free upgrade, the room wasn’t cleaned properly and could see hair from the previous guest.
