"Overall, I was quite happy with my stay at the hotel. Pros: The room was spacious, and the view from the window and balcony was unbeatable. It was incredibly quiet on the premises; all I could hear were birds and the sound of the surf. I stayed for a whole month and was convinced there wasn't a mosque nearby because I never heard the calls to prayer. It turns out, this was due to the hotel's wonderful architecture. The hotel grounds are shared with two other hotels, and all the entertainment is in the neighboring 4-star hotel, so there's no noise in the mornings or evenings, which was fantastic. The food was good (I had half-board). Zeinab, the guest relations manager, was wonderful; she helped me out several times, was very friendly, and spoke multiple languages. The hotel grounds are huge, perfect for leisurely walks. It's located right on the beachfront. There are three outdoor pools, one indoor pool, and a saltwater pool (for an extra charge). There's also a fireplace in the lobby. The staff at breakfast and dinner were very attentive. The transparent wall in the bathroom was a plus for me; you could shower with a sea view and enjoy natural light during the day. Cons: The reception staff weren't super-service-oriented unless you tipped them. The gym was not free, located in the basement of the spa center, and consequently, it was stuffy. Most of the equipment was old. The furniture in the rooms was a bit tired (though it was clear that cosmetic renovations are done regularly). There was no comfortable desk in the room for working on a computer, only low coffee tables in the room and on the balcony, which made it awkward to work. There was a table in the common area, but it was dark and lacked a power outlet for a laptop. In the end, I worked in the area usually occupied by the tour agent. There are small shops near the hotel, and the center is within walking distance, but it's along a main road, and Hammamet's infrastructure isn't great (this isn't a complaint about the hotel, as its location is good). Conclusion: If you're coming purely for relaxation, I think it's a great option. If you're planning a workcation, like I was, it's not entirely convenient."

"Just returned from Tui blu Manar hotel Tunisia and had a fantastic family holiday. We booked a swim up room which we would highly recommend although the young children in our group throughly enjoyed the main pool and splash pool. We did parasailing on the beach which was fantastic and reasonably priced big shout out to Mohamed who arranged this and is super friendly. The food and entertainment were fantastic another big shout out to Chicco another friendly fun guy."

"This is our second visit to this hotel. As soon as we arrived staff remembered us from the year before, from restaurant waiters to chefs, to bar staff and the entertainers. We felt so at home once again. We had a lovely clean room, which was cleaned daily . The restaurant we have only stuck to the buffet as there’s not enough on the menu to suit everyone in our party in the à la cartes but not to worry we always enjoyed our meals. The staff in the restaurant all work so hard, we were kept a table each day, we tipped which they really appreciate and we didn’t see enough of it from other guests. Our waiter remembered us and our drinks order from last year! The chefs cooking were so lovely including the top chef and they like it if you engage with them. I found some guests rather rude, what’s to stop you saying how are you or even a thank you. The staff in the snack bar and the wee toastie man at the beach bar are really friendly and hardworking. The staff in Wunderbar are nice but you get different service depending on who it is, one day got a chocolate milkshake for my son, next day told they don’t do that?! The pools are great something suitable for every need. Have to say a special mention to the lifeguards, always vigilant, I heard a young girl coughing I turned (as a mums intuition makes me)to look and the lifeguard was past me over and at her within seconds making sure she was ok and not choking on water which she was and no family supervision. The kids club was great for my 9yr old they were a lovely bunch and very conscientious about the kids safety when doing watersports. Lovely friendly group making you feel better about your kid being there. The watersports included are great and easy to use, we used them daily. Hubby enjoyed the archery as did my kids. Freyah, the teen rep, was lovely, friendly and fun, she put my son at ease who is on the spectrum, nothing forced just totally chilled but encouraging too. She’s a real good new asset to the team. The entertainment team were fabulous! Swazi, tazz, Jasmine, Damian, Lorenzo, WASHINGTON AND LIVIA!! You guys put on great shows, hard work in that heat, high energy! long hours, many dress changes creating a fun environment and making our family feel special every night. The daytime team too we loved dancing in the pool each day with activities. There was definitely Magic in the air! Loved the foam party was really fun. Sorry we missed the night version. I also have to point out our night time waiter at Captains bar - bald waiter (I’m so sorry) whose name I never got 2yrs in a row! He looked after us every night we barely got up for a drink and our last night he kept a table for us with table cloth and flowers and our drinks ready he really touched our heart. We have already booked for next yr and can’t wait! Only improvements and I’m being real picky here. I really enjoyed the jacuzzi and Spa pool with Mediterranean Sea water . The staff were very friendly. Just happened to meet the owner in breakfast his very humble and welcoming. General manager Samir N’cir came and checked on my experience in the Hotel . The Hotel is well maintained and well decorated with North African Arts.. looking forward to enjoy this hotel in summer."

Room with unpleasant view, room with swimming pool view, you have to give money under the table to the guy at the reception, no hose to wash it in the toilet!!! You need to take a bottle with you. Zero food, no variety, not good and you have to wait in line, you have nothing to drink except coffee or soft drinks which are always open so no gas, plus not cold, not even short of staff only one host really a shame for Tunisian hotels"

"We had a wonderful stay at Omar Khayyam Resort and spent four amazing days there as three female friends. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, the entire staff made us feel welcome and comfortable. A special thank you to the staff at the reception, in the dining area, and at the bar for their kindness and professionalism. In particular, we would like to mention Louai, who works the morning shift at the bar. He was always friendly, helpful, and attentive, and his positive attitude truly enhanced our experience. We would also like to thank the housekeeping lady who cleaned our room every day. The room was always spotless, tidy, and very well maintained. The animation team deserves a special mention as well: Iago, Hossem, Dudu, Alex, Sparta, Madu, and Lion. They were energetic, friendly, and made sure there was always something fun happening around the resort. We took part in various activities throughout our stay, and thanks to them, we never felt bored for a single moment. One of the hotel’s biggest advantages is its direct access to the beach. The sea view is absolutely beautiful and creates a relaxing atmosphere throughout the resort. For a 3-star hotel, I would happily give it a 9/10 rating. The staff, the food, and the overall vibe were honestly 10/10. The only area that could be improved is the air conditioning in the reception area and the dining room, especially during hot days. Improving this would make the experience even more comfortable for guests. Another great touch was that the hotel screened the World Cup matches on large projectors, creating a fantastic atmosphere for football fans without having to leave the hotel to watch the games. I would also highly recommend trying the beach activities such as jet skiing, parasailing, and other water sports. The team there is very professional, friendly, and offers fair prices. I am genuinely writing this review from the heart. Our stay exceeded our expectations, and we created wonderful memories during these four days. I would definitely recommend Omar Khayyam Resort to anyone looking for a fun, relaxing, and enjoyable holiday in Hammamet."
