"There are some good points to take away from this little hotel, firstly if you want relaxation then this hotel is for you. Its adults only so there was no fighting for sun loungers, no noise, just a really chilled experience. There was Bilel(not correct spelling) who was always getting everyone involved in aerobics and very friendly with everyone. The hotel food hasn't got a great selection, but there was enough to put food on my plate. You do have to pay for water and there is a 10min walk to the beach, but Flora Park does have its own section on the beach. They do need to change the pillows as they were hard as a rock, but rooms are spacious, cleaned on a daily basis. I did experience a leak in my room , but told reception and that evening i was moved to another room, they do look after their customers and are very friendly. This hotel is not full of luxuries, but it was adequate for what i was looking for. If you have a late checkout, there are no facilities to shower and change, so hopefully in time they can maybe look into this for future travellers. Overall, a pleasant stay, would i come again, yes, its a bargain you get what you pay for. Its peace and quiet!1"

"Flew over for a quiet week away from the rain in the UK and chose this place based on reviews and beach location. The hotel, staff, facilities and location have all been beyond expectations. Quiet winter season, large hotel with outside pool closed for refurbishment, not a problem though as indoor pool is large, 27 degrees and deep to shallow, next to the Gym which is small but new equipment, two lots of everything and free wieghts. Multiple bars open from 8 am till 11pm, Rafiq is very polite, speaks 4 languages and a wealth of knowledge of the local area and sites to see. Nothing is ever to much for any of the staff. Reception, kitchen, bar, spa and out in the grounds, very pleasant atmosphere, clean and spacious hotel. Wheel chair access into hotel and reception, lifts, dining room all on the ground floor so no problems getting around but the bar area and outside grounds are step access with no ramps available so could be improved please. Very grand, french colonial feel to the hotel but not outdated. Rooms very spacious with sea view or pool view, clean, modern comfortable beds, spacious walk in showers, large bath, modern loo's and options for daily room clean or two or three times a week etc. Management available and polite, always a smile and a Bon Jour. Always asking for your opinion and ideas to improve, Impressed with the all inclusive drink options and quality. Food is freshly cooked, grilled sea bass to die for, steak slices and turkey kababs grilled fresh in front of you and the buffet food is top quality, fresh, ample and well dressed. Just really boring and annoying foyer music that is repeated morning, noon and night. It's a piano chorus lift music. Great hotel, well located close to the marina, 10 min walk along the promenade and a water park, bazaar and local bars, coffee and restaurants easly within 5 min walk from hotel."

"This was my second time at Magic Life Africana. The first time I absolutely fell in love with it, so I couldn’t wait to go back, and somehow the second time was even better. The hotel itself is beautiful and full of colourful plants and flowers. The staff are honestly some of the nicest people you could meet. Everyone is so friendly, welcoming and always willing to help with anything. The man who plays the piano every evening before dinner is so talented. When he found out we were from Scotland, he played Scottish music for us, which was such a lovely touch. And THE FOOD! I absolutely love the food here, honestly 10/10. There is always so much choice and everything we tried was delicious. The Tunisian restaurant was amazing and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting. A very special mention to Slah, who always made sure we had a table and made every evening feel special. He was always on hand for anything we needed and really added to our whole experience. Our room was always cleaned to a really high standard and the cleaners were so friendly and lovely. The entertainment team are genuinely one of the BEST PART of the hotel. Shoutout to my girl JAZZ! We had so much fun with them all. Nikki is brilliant and so lovely to talk to, and the whole team will have you up dancing, laughing and having the best time. Jazz, Washington, Livia, Swazi, Lorenzo and the beautiful Damien all go above and beyond and are so talented. DJ Vlad is the best DJ He had us dancing all night and even took the time to sit and chat with us after his shift had finished. He is so funny and friendly, with loads of banter, He even taught us some of his language we absolutely loved him. The cocktails are fab, but the best ones have definitely got to be the ones made by BILEL & HATEM! There is so much to do in the hotel too. We did the cooking class and it was so much fun, and the food we made was delicious. My partner also planned a surprise dinner on the beach and it was honestly so beautiful. The staff sorted everything out perfectly and made it such a special and unforgettable evening for us. We had such an amazing holiday that after a few days of being home, I have booked to come back 2 weeks later with my teenager who is sure to have the best time. Magic Life Africana really is such a special place and the people who work there make it even better. We honestly cannot wait to be back. Lots of love April & Hayley"

"Meillä oli kaikkein ihanin oleskelu tässä hotellissa perheemme kanssa 6 yöksi! Kun saapuimme, tunsimme uskomattoman tervetulleita se todella tuntui olevan osa iso, lämmin perhe. Viihde oli täysin hämmästyttävä joka päivä, pitämällä sekä aikuiset että lapset onnellinen ja sitoutunut. Erityinen korostaminen oli paasteri juhla paasteri munia olivat uskomattomia ja lisäsi tällainen taika kosketus meidän oleskelu. Ruoka oli kaunis, joka oli aina tuore ja herkullinen. Henkilökunta oli poikkeuksellisen ystävällinen ja huomaavainen, varsinkin Nino ja Goofy, jotka tekivät kokemuksemme vieläkin muistokkaammaksi heidän ystävällisyytensä ja myönteisen energiansa. Meren näkymä huone oli yksinkertaisesti mahtava herätä siihen näkymään joka päivä oli unelma! Kaikki tästä hotellista ylitti odotuksemme. Ilmapiiri, palvelu, ruoka ja viihde olivat kaikki erinomaisia. Haluaisimme varmasti palata!"

"Aivan kauheaa, mutta jatketaan järjestyksessä: - Päivälliset, haisevat ja likaiset huoneet. Jääkaappi ei toiminut ja tippui lattialle. Koko huoneessa vain yksi pistorasia, joten sinun piti vuorotellen ladata puhelinta, kuivata hiuksia jne. - Äärimmäisen vanha ja likainen rakennelma, jossa torakat pitävät seuraasi lähes kaikkialla; - Kauhea ruoka, aina samat ruoat, ehdotettu ja ehdotettu uudelleen päiviä. Röyhkeä ravintolahuone. Tarjoilijat eivät edes vaihda pöytäliinoja ja ruokailuvälineitä ei vaihdeta, vain puhdistetaan lautasliinalla (vannon). Henkilökunta itse sietää (ja jopa suosittelee) käytäntöä. Joten jos menet uima-altaalle klo 8 (kun sen pitäisi vielä olla kiinni), löydät kaikki paikat jo varattuna. - Röyhkeä huonepalvelu: huoneet siivotaan likaisella rievulla (ei edes lakaisu), kun piikailla on aikaa ja halua (useammin kuin kerran, palattuaan uima-altaalta klo 16.30 huoneemme ei ollut siivottu). Pyyhkeitä ei vaihdeta, koska ei ole puhtaita. Joten jos pyydät vaihtoa, he ottavat ne, pesevät ne (niin he sanovat) ja palauttavat ne sinulle, kun ne ovat kuivuneet. Eli jos tulet takaisin ennen kuin ne ovat kuivuneet, et voi edes pestä itseäsi. - Äärimmäisen ärsyttäviä ovat herrat, jotka yrittävät ehdottaa retkiä joka hetki. "Saapui lauantai-iltana, tarkastettiin, työntekijät osoittivat meille, missä voimme saada ruokaa, koska se oli illallisen jälkeen. Animointihenkilökunta on fantastinen, pieni Si aina huumorintaju. Saatte mukana päivän aikana. He työskentelevät kauan, mutta aina hymyilevät. Vanhempi mies baarin takana oli niin hauska, aina sanoa jotain skotlanti. Ruoka oli OK, paljon sama joka päivä, mutta se ei todella häiritse meitä, koska me yleensä mennä ulos iltaisin. Huoneita oli aina puhdas. Minusta oli outoa, että kaikki mukaan lukien, että heillä ei ollut snack-ja jäätelö lapsille päivässä, mutta sitten en ole koskaan ollut Tunisiassa niin minulla. Haluaisin ehdottomasti suositella hotelli."

"Amazing hotel - we had a great time here. Staff are fantastic - especially in the restaurant (shout-out to Jebali who would bring us fresh strawberry juice every morning!). The food was varied and tasty - lots to choose from. Outdoor pools are beautiful but extremely chilly - we went for a dip and it was very very cold (but refreshing if you're feeling adventurous!). Rooms are spacious, quiet and comfortable, but quite warm - we couldn't get the AC to work so slept with the balcony door open to bring in some cool air. Hammamet Medina is a little far from the hotel but you can walk there in ~30mins and taxis are readily available and cheap using the InDrive app. The indoor pool is shared with the hotel next door and not the cleanest, and the fitness room isn't great (machines are old/broken and there are no windows so the room isn't ventilated). Overall though, we really enjoyed our stay!"
