Not as it was expected

Das Sindbad Hotel in Hammamet ist sehr zu empfehlen. Es ist eine sehr schöne komplexe Hotelanlage direkt am Meer gelegen, die jedem Gast etwas zu bieten hat. Das gesamte Hotelpersonal ist sehr zuvorkommend und höflich und stets bemüht, jedem Gast seinen Wunsch zu erfüllen. Hervorzuheben sind v.a. Ramzi der Reservations Manager und sein Team, ebenso wie Ahmed der Duty Manager an der Rezeption sowie Sami der Teamleiter von der Gastronomie. Sie gehen auf die Belange aller Gäste ein. Man fühlt sich sicher und sehr gut aufgehoben.

Staff friendly especially the cleaning staff. Food OK, chef at Omelette/pancake section very friendly but restaurant staff did tend to chat to each other in groups. Disappointed that water in the evening not included in the price (£3 a little steep for a 1 Lt bottle of water, it would have been nice if a small bottle was included and left on the table. When I brought my bottle of water in to the restaurant from the room I was told it was forbidden . (2 small bottles were left everyday in the bedroom which was great and much appreciated,) Previous hotels in Tunisia do provide bottled water as tapwater not safe to drink. Indoor pool chart said last checked 23/01/25, a little worrying & no one came to check on towels etc. One day we took the last 2 towels & it was only 4;30 with the pool still open until 6pm. Floor was very slippery and could do with a non slip mat down. Outside sunbed area had to ask for towels and some of the newer sunbeds collapse causing you to fall backwards. Hotel not suitable for wheel chair users as the Infinity pool and beach are down some stairs with no ramp (that I could see). Not much in the way of entertainment just a singer on a couple of nights
