Tuisuneo Royal Kenz

After visiting various resorts in Tunisia over the past 20 yrs with the exception of Djerba we have a good understanding of the culture, locals, hotels and the offerings from many of the other hotels. Without doubt, RK falls well below par on many other hotels of a similar rating and those even less. Positives- Staff are extremely plesent and will go over and deyond to make your stay welcoming and enjoyable which is replecated in many resorts and hotels we have found. Hotel grounds are clean and well presented but could do with a revamp and a bit of decorating in some areas. Pools are kept clean and treated accordingly ever morning. Rooms are acceptable however definitely outdated and could do with a revamp but are cleaned on a daily basis to a good standard. Spa area is well worth a visit and exceptionally priced for 3 hrs of treatments. Areas of improvement - Food. This is without doubt a bone of contention with many of the guests that were there end of Feb early March 2025. At best is lukewarm, bland and extremely repetitive. Not once did we witness a child's section which we have never witnessed before in any Tunisian hotels. Drinks both alcohic and none alcoholic are again without doubt sub standard and this alongside the food is an area that ideally needs to be addressed. All that said, it will not put us going to Tunisia again but most definitely not the Royal Kenz. There are an abundance of hotels that offer an higher standard in some of the areas which we see as lacking to bring the RK upto a similar 4star level and these should be explored before finally deciding on your choice. 1 such place that truelly offers 5 star service with exceptional food and drinks is JAZ Tour Khalef.

We went to the Tui Suneo Royal Kenz Hotel for our first time in Tunisia as a family of four. The hotel was clean and it wasn't so crowded as it's not peak season. The staff were so polite and helpful as we arrived at 11pm and though the restaurant was closed, they made sure we ate something before we headed to bed. They were a total lifesaver when I realised I brought the wrong charging adapter for my phone so they lent one for me to use on my stay (a European two pin adapter for those wondering). My sibling and I had a room to ourselves and our parents another but, they were further down the corridor from us and so the staff were very accommodating as they let us move into the room next to our parents the next morning once they had it prepared for us. I was very grateful as not many hotels would do something like that. I should note the room we moved from and into were exactly the same so it may have been okay on that occasion as it wouldn't have affected anyone's booking. The rooms were very clean and have very comfortable beds and the bathrooms were very clean too. I have no complaints except for that the rooms were a little old fashioned and it didn't provide a kettle for making teas and coffees like other hotels and they provided a mini fridge but, it was empty. Also if you're looking to iron your clothes, you have to pay for their laundry services, they won't give you an iron so you can do it yourself, you have to give the clothes that need ironing the day before and they'll charge you per item, prices vary depending on the item of clothing. The food at the hotel was wonderful, they had lots of different world cuisines to try and the wait staff were so kind and polite ensuring we were satisfied with our meals, our tables were clean and our drinks were filled. I would mention that depending on how you had booked your holiday, you might be entitled to a free meal at the A La Carte restaurant which we had unfortunately missed out on as weren't aware that it was included so, I would contact the hotel beforehand to see if that's included in your holiday. The Tui rep at the hotel was wonderful, letting us know of the places we can do and how much to pay for them and also giving us safety tips as well which was very helpful. If you're going to the port, I'd recommend getting a taxi or wearing comfortable shoes like trainers as it's around a 30-40 minute walk from the hotel and we severally underestimated the walk but, the second time around it was fine. There's a spa and a hairdressers within the hotel which you'll have to pay for separately for their services. I did use the spa and got a little package which included massages, sauna and steam which was very relaxing. I had also had the Keratine treatment to my hair too and I think they did a pretty good job. We booked some excursions with Joseph who works within the hotel but, I think his company is seperate to tbe hotel we thought it would have been safer and he'd be able to give us l

très bon hôtel avec un personnel particièrement aimable, serviable et efficace.Et un excellent séjour pour la Thalasso qui était pour nous l'essentiel; trés réussi par des professionnels et masseurs de haute qualité , très attentionnés et un accueil sachant répondre à nos demandes et difficultés ( en thalasso c'est essentiel), dans un espace doté de moyens et matériels perfectionnés et impeccables. Tout ceci dans une ambiance générale sympathique .

Nous sommes quatre amies et avons passé une semaine inoubliable en Tunisie. Notre séjour a été grandement apprécié grâce à l'excellent accueil des animateurs et à leurs animations de qualité. Chaque jour, il y avait des activités variées et amusantes, et l'ambiance était toujours conviviale et chaleureuse. Les animateurs étaient non seulement professionnels, mais aussi très sympathiques et attentifs, ce qui a rendu notre séjour encore plus agréable. Nous avons vraiment pu profiter de notre temps ensemble, en nous amusant tout en découvrant la culture locale. Un grand merci à toute l'équipe pour leur énergie et leur accueil, nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

Deuxième séjour en thalasso, et toujours aussi satisfaite ! Les soins, la propreté et le professionnalisme de toute l’équipe sont irréprochables. Zina nous accueille toujours avec le sourire, tout comme le reste de son équipe, d’ailleurs. Ils nous ont même reconnus, ce qui fait toujours plaisir ! Retrouver les mêmes salariés est, pour moi, un gage de qualité et de bien-être au travail. En prime, quelques petits cadeaux avant notre départ, un geste appréciable en plus de tout le reste. Pour visiter en toute tranquillité, je vous recommande Bechir, un excellent guide. Il m’a accompagnée au souk et m’a aidée à trouver exactement ce que je cherchais. Mission accomplie ! L’équipe du restaurant est au top : accueil chaleureux, sourires et petites attentions sont toujours au rendez-vous. Le buffet est varié et vraiment bien pensé. Quant à l’hôtel, il est spacieux et agréable. Le service de chambre est réactif et efficace. En résumé, si vous voulez passer une semaine de vacances placée sous le signe de la détente, je vous recommande cet établissement sans hésiter. Petit bémol cependant : alors que j’étais passée par Thalasseo la première fois, et que tout s’était parfaitement déroulé, cette année, en réservant avec Promo Séjour, c’était une catastrophe. Cinq heures de retard sur le vol aller, aucune navette à l’aéroport, et notre chambre n’a pas été considérée comme curiste, ce qui nous a privés des peignoirs et chaussons, faute d’inscription de la part de Promo Séjour ! Heureusement, Zina a tout arrangé très rapidement. Mon dernier conseil : réservez en direct, c’est bien plus simple ! Bon séjour !

Amazing holiday in this hotel. Booked a last minute holiday here with my hubby. Apart from the weather the whole experience was brilliant. A big shout out to the animation team (Amigo, Chiko, Mr Bean and Madi) who were absolutely amazing haven’t laughed so much in ages as all staff and other holiday makers were so friendly. Food and drink good and will definitely be back soon.
