Peacock Beach Resort and Spa

The property overall is well maintained but the rooms are little oldish, seems like they have been refurbished. But the view from each room is what takes your breath away. Located right on the Indian Ocean. The beds are comfortable with little issue with ACs. At night the corridors look scary because this place is extremely peaceful just as the name peacock resorts. The only thing I didn't like is the restaurant, we reached in the afternoon and they had no option of any food even to be made available on request. The best they offered us to kill hunger was french fries with kiddie burger. That's all they had. Again for dinner they had nothing to cook and advised us to try the restaurant on the opposite side of the road which we did as there are not many eateries nearby. The best time we spent was in the pool which was heated and had amazing views. It was a one night stay so okay for that.

We recently stayed at the hotel for a family getaway, and our experience was a mix of positives and negatives. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, which set a friendly tone for our stay. However, while our room was tidy, it unfortunately did not meet our cleanliness expectations. We were surprised to find that there were no telephones in the room, which made communication with the front desk a bit inconvenient. One significant issue we encountered was the lack of hot water. When we brought this to the attention of the staff, we were informed that the solar system was not functioning properly on rainy days. This was disappointing, as we were unable to enjoy comfortable showers during our stay. The restaurant left something to be desired, too. While the dinner was quite enjoyable, both breakfast and lunch did not meet our expectations, and we noticed that the dining area could have been cleaner. Overall, the maintenance of the facilities seemed to be lacking. On a brighter note, the pool area was well-maintained and provided a pleasant experience for the whole family. We appreciated the friendly demeanor of the staff throughout our stay. Additionally, the resort's easy access from Hambanthota was a definite plus. Can not recommend to another for a stay after spending that much money.

Great welcome.Awesome view. Friendly Support and polite staff . A delicious food menu. Best climate. Comfortable rooms with good hygene. One of the best hotels that we have visted.Comfortable beds. Nice bar. Great service.We coul enjoy both pool areas.

peacock hotel gives you value for money .the rooms are fine and have the basics for a stay .there is a lovely beach .staff are friendly ,we stay in this wonderful beach front hotel .we were on a leisure tour with my family .it was a great way to relax after a busy work schedule .again actually rooms is best and good food,💗💗💗 31st night is best Experience for us Thank you Peacock resort team and management

I am absolutely furious with the way Lankaila Hotels handled our booking. We booked MONTHS in advance, paid our deposit, and received confirmation, only to be told DAYS before our arrival that our reservation was being given to someone else! Despite pleading with them and explaining we were already en route, they showed zero concern and offered a pathetic "alternative" at their sister hotel in a location we didn't want. As if that wasn't bad enough, hours later they retracted that offer too, leaving us stranded with no accommodation during our holiday. The sheer incompetence and rudeness of their management is beyond belief! I've never experienced such appalling service from any hotel, anywhere in the world. To add insult to injury, getting our deposit back was like pulling teeth. They ignored our calls and left us in the lurch, completely ruining our holiday. I cannot fathom how such unprofessional practices are tolerated in Sri Lanka's tourism industry. DO NOT BOOK WITH LANKAILA HOTELS! They are unreliable, irresponsible, and will not hesitate to ruin your trip. Save yourself the stress and book with a reputable company that actually values its customers.

Terrible place. From the welcoming it was a disaster. No one to welcome at the door. We had to go to the reception and ask for a person to carry our baggage. Food was terrible and the restaurant staff was very rude. No air-condition in the restaurant. They never picked up the used plates. Food was terrible. There were no towels in the pool. Only good thing was the quality of the room. It was clean and comfy. Over all very bad experience. I have been there couple of times before 2016 and at that time it was a fantastic place. Now it has turned into a disaster.
