Hotel Tylösand

Everything about Hotel Tylösand is excellent. From the moment you step inside and stroll through hallways adorned with striking photographs of iconic musicians, to your room with a balcony overlooking the sea, and the spa area offering an impressive range of experiences—it’s all simply wonderful. The breakfast is outstanding, the lunch is satisfying and well-prepared, and the dinner is truly delicious, perfectly complemented by an ambitious and thoughtfully curated wine list. On top of it all, the staff are exceptionally service-minded and helpful, always attentive and ready to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

Here is where I spent my golden birthday (when your birthdate matches your age and I was turning 28 years old). And I LOVED the experience. The package I picked was called almost unreal or something along those lines. It was a 12 hour slot beginning at 9am but you can obviously go whenever you like and leave earlier if you want. We were give robes and flip flops (the flip flops you could keep) and towels and we had access to both floors of the spa. The bottom floor had a HUGE pool with two jacuzzis separate and a cold plunge pool for after the sauna which was also available down there. Upstairs was an outdoor heated pool with the view of the beach which was great and a smaller indoor pool with built in seats that reminded sun loungers. There were beds to relax in around the indoor pool, two different saunas and a foot soak place. It was quiet and calm and very very clean. My boyfriend and I each got an hour long massage and were then sent to the “recovery” room which is basically just a place to just relax a little after your massage and they offer free fruit, coffee and tea in that room as well. Lunch was also included in the package and although I was happy with the lunch the dessert part was not great. In the late afternoon they start showing a movie in the huge pool downstairs and they offer floats for you to sit in so you can enjoy it comfortably. It was not cheap but it was worth every penny. If you are looking for a spa day that is easy to get to without a car at a pretty location, this is it.

We had a great long weekend over Easter in Tylösand with kids (6&8) and we all had a great time! The best things: a very nice and clean spa (so slides but a couple of jacuzzis, sauna and a big pool for kids - upstairs even more for adults), good package with food (breakfast and dinner def worth it but the lunch buffet was not bad either), lovely art all over the hotel really uplifts the overall feeling. The free wine tasting was a very nice touch! Kids playroom was also a hit with the ping pong table and trampoline. The beach is lovely although we didn’t have the best weather. What knocked a star off the review: we stayed in the slightly more expensive room towards the sea but happened to be the one closest the billiard lounge (room #10). Cannot recommend as there were loud crowds in the evening playing the games and the shouting kept us awake. The other thing was the kids food offering at the restaurant; the kids buffet could have had a few more things, incl some veggie sticks or similar for the pickier diners. It was also a bit strange that _everything_ is in Swedish only (a few things were translated but much less than you’d expect in a hotel!), luckily it wasn’t a huge thing for us knowing some Swedish but would be difficult for a non-Scandinavian traveler. All in all would definitely recommend this hotel if you are in the area!

Beautiful, luxurious hotel with great photo art, delicious breakfast and dinner. The beds were very cosy and we enjoyed a nice 75 min massage as well:-) Beware that children are allowed on the lower floor of the spa. Try to avoid this floor between 15-17 if you don't like noisy children:-) I didn't enjoy the hotel's taste in music. For spa settings I prefer mindful nature music whereas at Tylösand, they play uptempo lounge and dance music. Also, people should not be allowed to bring their phones to the first floor spa area.

What a dream hotel to visit during winter break with my family! GREAT facilities and activities for both children and adults - will come back soon for sure!

A large hotel with a heart ❤️ The hotel is filled with modern art and the private Ferrari exhibit makes it a destination it self. With its size it’s not a intimate and cozy get away, but well worth a visit.

Rude personel at the resturant Tylöhus. We were given bad table under the big load speakers and when we ask to change the table, they put us in another iailated resturant although the resturang was almost empty. At the end they let us pay extra on the room for things we did not order.

We have a Great Christmas table with Thomas pianobar Musik.It was...just amazing.Varied food, fresh& delicious- decorated in Christmas style. Service was polite & faster.Thomas was Amazing ..as Always! He knows how to Entertain guests to The Max! A True Professional.Resraurant decoration was very nice.There was Christmas Spirit everywhere in the hotel.Everything was fantastic.Night club musik was Also very good for dancing.We have a Great time..Thanks🙏🙏🎊Will be back ..for Sure. I went for the Thermalist Education Certification weekend, the accommodations and staff(Ebba) in particular were phenomenal in care. This was my first time traveling to Sweden’s and I’m very grateful for the warm (and Cold😋) welcome
