"Tämä oli toinen kerta, kun olin täällä, ja jälleen kerran, se oli suuri kokemus. Kaunis päivä tutkiessaan Grampianit, oli mukava palata paikka, jossa on kaikki mitä tarvitset. Huoneistot ovat erinomaisia, varsinkin tilava keittiö, joka teki ruokavalmiiksi helppo ja miellyttävä. Yhteinen loungealue oli mukava koroste 3 kesällä talvella, heillä on jopa tulipalo, joka lisää lämmin, juhlallinen kosketus. Sohva oli puhdas ja super mukava, täydellinen rentoutua pitkän päivän jälkeen. Huone itse oli hyvin mukava. Lämmitys toimi täydellisesti, ja kaikki tukilta suihkuunoli spotless. Meillä oli kaikki mitä tarvitsimme rentoutua. Tunnistukseen ja ulostuloon kävi sujuvasti, vaikka on syytä huomata, että sisääntulo on käytettävissä vain rajoitetun ajan ikkunan. Tutkimuksessa vieraita pyydetään sijoittamaan käytetty levyt nimetty alue, joka oli selvästi ilmoitettu. Tulen varmasti takaisin. Hyvin suositeltavaa!"

"We had a late check-in and called prior to let the receptionist know as the counter closes at 5pm. They were really chill about it as long as you come first thing in the morning to sign off the paperwork. But note that they open at 9am so if you have plans to set out on your adventures early then best to check-in on time 😅 The place was cosy, with 3 additional flannel blankets for people who can’t take the cold (even during the summer! It was windy and at 7 deg C the nights we were there). The cabin can fit 6 people with 4 bunk beds + 1 queen. We didn’t know how to use the radiator or maybe it wasn’t working but it was just us two so we took all the blankets to keep warm… The shower area is tiny but we make do. Toilet was also clean with plenty of toilet paper provided. Kitchen has coffee, tea,sugar and a small milk box. No oil/salt/pepper if you intend to cook so remember to BYO! Not sure if they might have these in the communal kitchen as we didn’t explore that. No washer if you’re looking to clean your muddy gear from hiking! 5-min walk to the shops and to trails aplenty within the Grampians National Park. Takes anywhere between 20-1.5hrs to drive up to the peaks/lookouts in the area. We did about 8 small trails/lookout points in 2 days. Also check out Spirit of Punjab if you’re looking to reward yourself on the final night after your adventures. The food was yum!"

"What a crap place. Wouldn’t recommend it to house a dog. This is the worst place I have ever stayed at. Do not book there. Can’t even get a feed until 20.00. I would rather stay in a car. We had booked for a week and left after the first night. DO NOT EVEN Ring them. It is crap"

"My sister and I spent a fabulous week in the Grampians and stayed in one of the Wonderland Cottages. We were both so impressed with this very comfortable, eco friendly accommodation. Owners Matt and Danny have extensive knowledge of the area and are putting their heart and soul into providing holiday makers with a memorable experience. Cottage was very clean, with good natural light and a nice outlook from every room. We were warm as toast with option of 3 air con units or an efficient wood heater. The coffee table compendiums were brilliant, providing detailed information of numerous walking trails, local attractions and dining options. We referred to them daily. The owners have ongoing plans for improvements to further enhance the visitor experience. We’d gladly stay again and would highly recommend Wonderland Cottages to those looking for comfortable, well priced accommodation in Halls Gap. Many thanks to Matt and Danny."

"It was sparkling clean, had all the kitchen equipment we needed and some basic condiments. Loved the hot tub and massage chair! There were also laundry facilities available - and we saw a kangaroo pack right behind the laundry room."
