"My stay at Halls Haven Holiday Unit was truly relaxing and enjoyable. It’s a lovely place that feels peaceful while still being very close to the town centre, which made it really convenient for getting around and exploring. One of the highlights of the stay was the small animal farm on the property. It was such a unique and charming touch, with kangaroos, alpacas, and sheep wandering around. It added a special, almost countryside feel to the whole experience. There is also a beautiful pond in the middle of the property, which quickly became my favourite spot. It’s perfect for starting the day with a quiet breakfast and coffee, or even enjoying a BBQ in the evening. Sitting by the water with such a calm atmosphere made the stay feel extra special."

It's not just somewhere to stay but a life experience with so much wild life, large campsites, shiny new amenities, huge camp kitchen, fire pits, friendly knowledgeable ground staff who are also part of creating the Grampians trails. "Vietit perjantai- ja lauantai-iltana Stone Cottagessa ryhmän kavereita ja loput ryhmästämme Redgum Cottagessa, eikä voi raivostua tarpeeksi tästä paikasta. Todella mukava ja rento; ruohonleikkuu puu paloi joka ilta (luja puu) kylmä ja tuulen viikonloppuna; superly varustettu keittiö ja todellinen tunne olla poissa siitä kaikki luonnollisesti( mutta suuri wifi niille, jotka halusi sen). Vain kymmenen minuuttia Halls Gap tai Pomonal ja suuri perusta tutkia Grampian kävelyreittiä ja viinialueita lähellä pohjoista. Korkeasti suositeltavaa."

"A comfortable couple of nights here. we liked having a separate bedroom area, a very comfy bed. My only niggle is, I would like to have had a mirror & plug socket in the bedroom as the bathroom sink area was tight on space. Location was a little out from the shopping/restaurant area, it was fine walking in daytime, but used car at night."

Wonderland Cottages
"We loved our stay at Wonderland cottages. The cottage was a perfect base for all that the Grampians have to offer. Our cottage was comfortable and spacious, but also cosy. There was plenty of wildlife around the cottages including many species of birds, kangaroos and wallabies. We travelled with a baby and Matt and Danny kindly accommodated us by providing a portacot and a highchair. We would definitely stay again!"

"This has been the find of the Australia trip so far. Fantastic accommodation. The facilities are excellent and the location in the forest is so peaceful and quiet. We went up to McKenzie falls and then some of the look out points for a trip . Would recommend both. Halls Gap has all the things you need but is small and quaint. Worth the drive to get here."

"Beds comfortable. Backstop mountains lovely and plenty kangaroos to go around. Very clean and comfortable. Only small drawback was tight parking space. Lovely lady at reception made us feel welcome. More than sufficient dishes and facilities to go around. Perfect for our purposes. The bed was spacious and had electric blankets fitted. Warm and toasty with the bed holding the heat hours after blanket switched off. Swing heater/cooler fitted to wall and large television with wifi connection."
