Clean hotel excellent stuff helpful always available to assist. Perfect beach a paradise in the forest. I would definitely visit again. September beginning of October the best time of the year. Not hot weather not fussy no traffic . The stunning views across the sea from the room.

It was very enjoyable here. The staff were great and very accommodating. It's great value for money. Everything you'd expect for a medium budget trip. I also believe they are doing some renovations so if you're coming in the year 2025 expect even better!

We stayed for 10 nights, overall our experience was pleasant. The food is nice, a good variety, especially for breakfast. The beach is amazing, beautiful clear water and lovely sand. The staff are very friendly, and more than happy to help. The disappointments, the room facilities are not great, no kettle or iron. So you can’t have a coffee in your room in the morning and you have to pay to have any clothes ironed as they wouldn’t give us an iron. The bathroom is also very basic, they also don’t change your towels, only the bedding every 3 days . The toilets by the pool also stink, they need to be sorted. The location, is very nice, quite secluded with lovely trees and wildlife within the resort, but if you want to leave to go and see anywhere you have to get a taxi or a bus (which aren’t reliable) the hotel is almost in the middle of no where, the closest shop being a 15 minute walk. Also we found that you have to pay for sunbeds on the private hotel beach €20 which is very bad considering you’ve already paid for the hotel! Hotel has lots of potential if it was to make a few alterations to the facilities in the room, toilets etc. Shoutout to the hotel manager, very pleasant guy who made the Greek night fun

We stayed at this hotel for 7 days, and while the staff was lovely, that’s about the only positive thing I can say. The hotel is located in the middle of nowhere. You have to walk 30 minutes just to get to the nearest shop for essentials like drinking water, as the hotel doesn’t provide any. There’s also no room service, which is completely unacceptable for a place claiming to be 4 star hotel, more like 2 The rooms are large but extremely basic and dated—no tea or coffee facilities, no iron, and the bed is of terrible quality, creaking and shifting with every movement. The walls are paper-thin, so you can hear everything from neighboring rooms, including people talking and snoring. On top of that, the room was full of mosquitos and damp flies. The bathroom is poorly designed. There’s no silicone rim in the shower, meaning the entire bathroom floods every time you take a shower. Housekeeping is minimal at best—they only clean the floors and take out the rubbish. Our bedsheets were changed just once during the entire stay. Provided towels had yellow stains on them. The hotel may be close to the beach, but it’s only accessible via hundreds of steep steps, making it difficult to get to. And if you want to use a parasol or towel, you’re charged 20 euros every time. On top of that, the hotel hit us with an unexpected 50-euro tax charge that we weren’t informed about beforehand. The breakfast was the same every single day. To make matters worse, when I finally tried the bacon, it had green spots in some areas and scrambled eggs were cold. It was completely inedible and downright unsafe. After that experience, I stuck to the Greek yogurt and nuts for the remainder of my stay. Overall, this place was a huge disappointment, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Hotel Review: Alexandra the Great Hotel, Kriopigi I recently stayed at Alexandra the Great Hotel in Kriopigi, and despite its 4-star rating, the experience felt more like a 2-star stay by UK standards. Here’s a detailed breakdown: ### The Positives: The staff at the hotel are wonderful—friendly, courteous, and always willing to help. The beach is another highlight, with stunning, crystal-clear waters. However, the sunbeds are uncomfortable and feel cheaply made. Adding to the frustration, the hotel charges €20 per day for two sunbeds, which feels excessive for guests already paying for their stay. ### The Negatives: One of the major downsides is the hotel’s location. It’s in the middle of nowhere, with the closest town being a 30-minute brisk walk away. You can take a €5 taxi, but it still feels isolated and inconvenient if you’re looking to explore or grab essentials. A huge frustration was that there’s only one key provided per room. If one person wants to go out while the other stays in, the person staying behind won’t be able to turn on the lights, watch TV, or relax, since the key card controls the power. The rooms themselves were disappointing. The beds are uncomfortable, squeaky, and the walls are thin, meaning you can hear everything happening in neighboring rooms. The furniture is outdated, and the air conditioning barely functions, making the rooms hot and uncomfortable. The bathroom also has issues. The shower screen isn’t water-sealed, so water leaks out onto the floor every time you use it, leaving a mess to clean up. Moreover, there was no room service available—partly because the hotel doesn’t offer it, and partly because the phones didn’t work. The hotel also has an odd policy where you’re required to pay a €40 deposit for towels each day, though you do get it back. Still, it feels unnecessary, especially considering the towels and linens often had stains. Despite asking for sand to be cleaned out of our room repeatedly over the course of a week, nothing was done. For those expecting entertainment, there was none during our stay. We were told entertainment is only available during high season, which was puzzling, as we paid full-season prices despite receiving low-season services. Finally, the food was incredibly disappointing—best described as cheap hospital food, far below the quality expected at a 4-star hotel.

Our 2nd visit to this wonderful hotel with a amazing sandy private beach, Fantastic manager and Host, Demetras, reception team are fantastic nothing is to much trouble Mapia and George and many more, lovely rooms with all you could need for a relaxing holiday, great selection of food. Thankyou all x
