"We stayed at Halifax South Premier Inn for 1 night on our way back from a new year break and for the price (just £50!) it couldn’t be faulted. Even before we arrived the staff were friendly and helpful, responding quickly to my request for a corner top floor room and allocating us exactly that. This warmth from staff continued at check in and throughout our stay. Our room was exactly what you’d expect from a premier inn, basic furnishings but clean and with a lovely view of the canal. The room was also blissfully quiet with no noise from outside or other guests. There is ample easy parking and we had both dinner and breakfast at the Brewer’s Fayre next door on a premier inn meal deal. The food was decent pub grub and again the service was friendly - having veggie sausage and bacon available at breakfast was a great plus! For the value and location - just outside Halifax - we’d definitely stay here again if in the area."

"Everything about this hotel is first class. The warm welcome and service throughout was exceptional. The bedroom was perfect, very thoughtfully designed, beautifully decorated, very comfortable bed, great shower and toiletries. Dinner was incredible; a great balanced menu with dishes to wow and impress, whilst also traditional favourites with a high quality twist. Loads of local, seasonal produce and flavours, great wine list, stunning presentation and VERY tasty. Served in gorgeous surroundings. The hotel is stunning; oozing character, history and stories, set in wonderful grounds. Didn’t want to leave, and definitely hope to return."

Varasin matkan ja maksettiin etukäteen, mutta heillä ei ollut tätä tietoa saapuessa. Oli lasku 40 puntaa, kun olin maksanut 50 puntaa matkan. Kävijä nopeasti uuden laskun. Hotelli on hyvin kadonnut. Huone oli kauheassa tilassa. Vaikka vuodelaatikot ja pyyhkeet olivat puhtaat, huoneen yleistila oli kauhea. Driinejä oli kello, suihkunäyttö rikki, siellä oli tinkiä kaikkialla. Ymmärrän, että se on erittäin halpa hotelli, mutta asiakkaiden pitäisi olla vähimmäisarvostusta. Oli ilmainen aamiainen, joka oli hyvä. Jotkut muut asiakkaat olivat melko kova ja ruskea."
