While walking the property, keep an eye out for moose and their calves, eagles, cranes, and occasionally bears. Remember, wildlife is in the area, so stay vigilant. When exploring nearby wooded areas, talk loudly or make noise to alert wildlife of your presence. Never approach or confront any animals.~Extras:We have strawberry plants, blueberry, raspberry bushes and rhubarb plants on the property. If you see berries, or rhubarb that are ripe and are calling your name, please help yourself :) Conveniently located in Anchor Point, just 2 miles from the beach and world-class fishing, and only 14 miles from Homer, this retreat is the perfect balance of seclusion and accessibility.
