Schloss Gumpoldskirchen

Ich hatte das Vergnügen, im Hotel Schloss Gumpoldskirchen zu übernachten. Die Atmosphäre ist ruhig und entspannt, das Personal sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Lage ist perfekt - mitten im charmanten Ort Gumpoldskirchen und umgeben von Weinbergen. Ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen oder Weinverkostungen in der Region. Die Zimmer sind gemütlich und gut ausgestattet, mit einem Hauch von historischem Flair, der das Ambiente des Gebäudes widerspiegelt. Ich kann das Hotel sehr empfehlen!

Nice atmosphere in the castle located in the middle of vinery fields. Not faraway from Vienna city Center. Owner is very much family guy. Always smiling and simpathetic, open minded. If you expect in 3 Star hotelbreakfest or rooms likę in 5 Star hotels, you will be disappointed. However there is everything on the right level. We spend very nice time in the castle and surrandings. It is fantastic base for wondering and bicycle trips. I do recommend.

Seit vielen Jahren besuchen wir mit der zweiten und dritten Generation unserer Familie das Schloss Gumpoldskirchen. Niemand will direkt in Wien untergebracht werden, sondern in Gumpoldskirchen, wo es perfekte Einrichtungen, eine hervorragende Pflege des Schlosses und eine Unterkunft gibt, die vom Direktor Herrn Ladislaus E. Batthyány-Strattmann und seinem Team zur Verfügung gestellt wird. Wir kennen keinen schöneren Anblick, als morgens das Fenster zu öffnen, direkt auf den Weinberg zu blicken und ein Frühstück mit „Wiener Semmeln“ zu genießen, die es bei uns in Tschechien nicht so gut gibt. Der Aufenthalt im Schloss bietet Abenteuer, Romantik und eine völlige Auszeit vom Alltag. Alle unsere Wünsche, wie zum Beispiel Zustellbetten für Kinder, werden prompt erfüllt, die Kommunikation mit Herrn Direktor ist blitzschnell und perfekt. Unsere ganze Familie hat bereits geäußert, dass sie sich einen Aufenthalt im Schloss Gumpoldskirchen im nächsten Jahr als Hauptgeschenk zu Weihnachten wünscht. Nikdo nechce být ubytován přímo ve Vídni, ale v Gumpoldskirchenu, kde je perfektní zázemí, skvělá péče o chod zámku a ubytování, zajišťovaná ředitelem panem Ladislaus E. Batthyány-Strattmannem a jeho týmem. Neznáme lepší pohled, než otevřít ráno okno, dívat se přímo na vinici a těšit se na snídani s „vídeňskými houskami“, které tak dobré v Čechách nemáme. Pobyt na zámku skýtá dobrodružství, romantiku a úplné vybočení z všední každodennosti. Všechna naše přání, například přistýlky pro děti, jsou obratem vyřízena, komunikace s panem ředitelem je bleskurychlá a perfektní. Celá rodina se už vyjádřila, že k Vánocům si jako hlavní dárek přejí pobyt na zámku v Gumpoldskirchenu v příštím roce. JUDr. Václav Zeman, JUDr. Monika Zemanová

My husband and I have just spent a few weeks at this hotel and we loved it! First of all, we are talking about a historical, almost a thousand year old settlement (Gumpoldskirchen) with this particular castle (Schloss Gumpoldskirchen) being one of its oldest treasures that still exist! And I am very happy that the hotel's director Ladislaus E. Batthyány-Strattmann is doing such an excellent job managing this object! He does it with so much enthusiasm, with his whole heart and mind, that a couple of times I thought that he could read my thoughts -- so much is he attuned to his customers!!! Second, this hotel has a very pleasant indoor climate, which makes it a real refuge for people with allergies. It is the first hotel that I've been to that has parquet flooring and real wood furniture. No synthetic carpets or plastic furniture! Third, there is a lot of open space and no unnecessary stuff. However, there is everything you do need though (and even more) to be able to relax and enjoy this place and the nature surrounding it. Fourth, the staff are very friendly and customer-oriented. If you have a particular wish, let them know and they'll do their best to provide it. (By this, I do NOT mean a Wiener Schnitzel at 2 a.m., but things that are sensibly doable.) Last but not least, the location itself is absolutely great: vineyards, mountains, quite a bit of forest on the one side, and the old St. Michael church with the bridge to the heart of the old town on the other side... We will miss this hotel, but will for sure be back!!!

i really enjoyed my stay at schloss gumpoldskirchen. easy location for taxis to find. traditional and clean location. big castle with a lot of space and freedom to roam. a lot of things going on locally. friendly and helpful staff. nice people in the area.

Ich kann es total empfehlen! Persönliche Begrüßung , die Zimmer sind einfach aber schön, die Lage ein Traum , das Personal top ! Das Frühstück einfach aber gut die Lokalität hat total was ein runterkommen und man fühlt sich echt gut aufgehoben! Kein 5 Sterne Hotel aber das soll es auch nicht sein . Ich werde wieder kommen in diese herzliche Unterkunft ! Macht weiter so
