Les 12 de Larros

The hotel is not good with refunding money once you prepay your stay even if you have a date change. They are non responsive when following up even though I was told I would get a refund after my stay. Hotel even resold my room. Hotel is campy and fun looking. Management is not friendly and when you ask for additional toiletries (soap shampoo) they make you feel uncomfortable. Only stayed here due to wedding. I would never come back and would not recommend

Still waiting to go. Hotel is extremely slow to respond, if at all. We shortened our stay and they refused to refund the extra night until we arrive. We have reserved #12 and after reading review, very concerned about our stay. I hope these matters have been fixed and the times for the water procedure changed. I will report after my stay the end of the month to followup

Lieu original, baigné de calme. Des cabanes en bois sur l’eau, décorées en toute simplicité et très jolies, tout le confort de par les équipements (cuisine équipée, petits fauteuils sur la terrasse, sale de bains modernes…) Nous avons passé quelques jours des plus agréables sur le port avec une petite plage au bout du chemin très intimiste. Un très bel emplacement loin de la foule avec pour vue des couchers de soleil sur l’eau. Merci aux hôtes pour leur accueil, très à l’écoute…

Nous avons pris un lodge à deusx personnes, c'était super, avec balcon , vue sur l'eau, cois cuisine, une chambre trés confortable et un canapé trés bien. A recommander, super accueil et trés calme, un endroit trés sympathique et le pris est correct. Nadine et Laurence

Les 12 de Laross se compose de 12 appartements de style chalet récemment construits dans le port tranquille de Laross. Chaque appartement dispose d'une terrasse et d'un balcon offrant des vues fabuleuses sur le bassin d'Arcachon. La réception est très accueillante et serviable, bien qu'elle ne soit pas ouverte en permanence. Nous avons choisi le n°12 qui se trouve au premier étage auquel on accède par un escalier extérieur en colimaçon. L'appartement était propre mais les bouches d'aération au plafond semblaient ne pas avoir été nettoyées récemment. L'appartement est bien conçu, avec des œuvres d'art originales sur les murs. La kitchenette est bien équipée et comprend une machine Nespresso. La salle de bains est également très agréable, avec deux lavabos, une douche de bonne taille et un sèche-serviettes. Deux savons et un gel douche sont fournis gratuitement, ainsi que deux serviettes de bain et deux serviettes de toilette de bonne qualité. La chambre était spacieuse, avec beaucoup d'espace de rangement et une terrasse donnant sur la maline. Le lit était bien, mais la couette était trop petite pour le grand lit, de sorte que la couverture n'était pas remplie et vous laissait froid pendant la nuit. La climatisation se trouve dans la salle de séjour et fonctionne bien, mais nous avions froid le soir car nous ne pouvions pas augmenter le thermostat réglé à 19°C. Le petit déjeuner peut être livré à votre porte à tout moment à partir de 8h30/9h du matin. Bien que ces appartements soient situés dans une zone très paisible, un gros inconvénient que nous avons remarqué avec le n°12 est que nous avons été réveillés tous les matins vers 4 heures par le bruit du pompage de l'eau a marée haute pour remplir la maline qui a duré au moins 3 heures et qui a perturbé notre sommeil. Le même phénomène se produit l'après-midi, mais il est moins dérangeant, ainsi qu'un léger son aigu au loin pendant la journée. C'est pour cette raison que nous avons décidé de partir un jour plus tôt que prévu. Malgré certains de mes commentaires négatifs, il s'agit d'un lieu de séjour très agréable et les appartements sont vraiment très bien. Il est important de bien choisir son appartement, ceux du premier étage ont plus d'intimité que ceux du rez-de-chaussée car l'entrée donne sur le parking adjacent qui est utilisé par les camping-cars de temps en temps et les personnes qui visitent le port ou qui mangent dans l'un des restaurants à proximité des appartements.

Fantastic Stay, Great Location, Great Views What a find! After the initial shock of arriving during the middle of the day on a hot, sunny public holiday - when it seemed you couldn’t get another person in the place, we were pleasantly surprised to arrive back at 4.00pm and find everyone had gone. We received a friendly welcome from reception and were directed to our apartment (No 8) on the first floor via an external spiral stairway (no lifts). I would suggest that the rooms on the first floor are better (Nos 8-12). On arrival we were asked if we wanted to order a breakfast hamper, which was delivered at an agreed time. We went for the basic one, which included orange juice, chocolate milk, coffee pods, fruit, yogurt, half a baguette with butter and jam and some croissants and pain au chocolate. More than enough! If you want it each day make sure they have noted your request. There are two large terraces one facing west towards the sea with a table and 4 chairs and a second large balcony accessed via the bedroom overlooking a small lake with buildings and restaurants around its edges with a couple of easy chairs. During our 4 night stay we sat and enjoyed the views from both balconies, and particularly enjoyed some magnificent sunsets. The apartments are wonderfully bright and airy (our first floor apartment had high vaulted ceilings with wooden beams) with original hand painted murals in each of the apartments. There is a separate WC, well lit and bright bathroom with walk-in shower, kitchenette with microwave, induction hob (2 plates), fridge and Nespresso coffee machine and kettle, sufficient crockery for 4 people and of course a knife for opening oysters! The bedroom had a large double bed which was extremely comfortable and a TV (we didn’t watch). Bed linen, towels and kitchen towels were included. Wifi codes were giving at check-in and worked well throughout our visit. There are a lot of CCTV cameras covering public areas/access. There is parking outside below the building, but it is not reserved so it can be busy at certain times of the day, I also feel that apartments on the ground floor (although slightly) elevated have less privacy on one side because of the cars parking beside the building and also a foot ramp giving access to the ground floor accommodation. The location of Les 12 De Larros is fantastic. You can leave your car and walk to numerous shacks and enjoy the wonderful local Oysters washed down with some great wines. Enjoy walking out to the Statue of Christ and walk to some of the other ports. Outside of lunchtime and early evening during the second week of June the location was very quite and we were not bothered by either the carpark in front of the building or the restaurant to the side (it closes at 9.30pm). We loved our time here and fell in love with this great area and are certainly planning a return trip.
