Since it's a great spot for photos along the Li River, the lack of shade really detracts from the experience."

The service was incredibly heartwarming; the staff meticulously explained travel routes and attractions upon check-in, kindly reminded us about afternoon tea, and even delivered delicious sweet soup to our room in the evening. Every detail was perfect. They also provided laundry detergent and a drying area, which made doing laundry during our trip very easy. The Guilin rice noodles for breakfast were authentic, and the afternoon tea was also quite good. You can feel the thoughtfulness everywhere; we had a comfortable and relaxing stay. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Guilin."

"Great hotel with high quality massage. The hotel was excellent, the interior was done to a high standard and the rooms were spacious. The front desk provided a nice fact sheet which was ideal for quickly seeing what's around the city and some suggest shops. As I arrived in the early evening and wanted to make the most of the time it saved me from having to research, and the next day I was able to branch out once I'd acclimatised. The hotel has a room top bar, at night it's very peaceful and far cooler than street level, I had a nice drink watching the sunset before heading out to see the night lights. The spa/massage is excellent, the technician has real skill. I strongly recommend you visit as the Thai massage was one of the best I've had. Location wise it's right next to the scenic area and boat tours, but as it's the end of the scenic area it's actually still relatively quiet compared to the bustle nearer pedestrian street."

"Choosing this hotel in Guilin was an excellent decision! The location is superb; it's a short walk to the Two Rivers and Four Lakes scenic area and Elephant Trunk Hill. Plus, there are plenty of local snacks and shopping malls nearby. The room was clean and odor-free, the bedding was soft, there was ample hot water, and the soundproofing was great. The front desk staff were warm and helpful, proactively recommending sightseeing routes and authentic local rice noodles. It offers incredible value for money. I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Guilin!"
