My stay at IBIS was quite disappointing. None of the reception staff spoke English, which made communication difficult and frustrating. I was also subjected to police verification, even though the hotel should have submitted passport documentation directly—this felt unnecessary and poorly handled. The reception staff were rude and uncooperative; when I asked for a room upgrade to twin sharing, they refused without explanation. Even worse, when I requested to speak with a manager, the front desk staff declined to share any contact details. On a positive note, the hotel has a convenient self-laundry system, easy access to the metro, and is located in a good area with nearby restaurants and convenience stores. However, the lack of hospitality overshadowed these benefits.
