Southern Airlines Pearl Airport Hotel(Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport T2)

Instructions for the pick up service could be clearer. Still a good stay for an overnight layover. Convenient with 7-11 and McDonald’s below.

Very nice hotel room. Lunch with Muslim friends. Location is relatively near to T3. A lot of seafoods restaurants /stallsare in adjacent.

It’s convenient because there is also an airport shuttle bus service. There’s a convenience store nearby as well. It’s close to the airport, quiet, and clean.

We stayed here because it’s close to the airport and it’s a newer hotel. Unfortunately, the bathroom was a huge disappointment. The shower was absolutely disgusting. There was mold in the corners, and the caulking around the shower was covered with slimy buildup. It was obvious that these areas had not been cleaned properly for a long time. It also made me wonder whether housekeeping supervisors ever inspect the rooms. We only stayed one night because we had an early flight, but this level of cleanliness is unacceptable. A bathroom should be sanitary, especially in a newer hotel. I was so grossed out that I didn’t even feel comfortable taking a shower. The hotel has potential because of its convenient airport location, but management really needs to improve its housekeeping standards.

Overall, the perfect stop gap for flight connections. The hotel feels very new and has good amenities in terms of food and beverage. And the shuttle to the airport is a bonus.

A great hotel if you're needing to re-cooperate from a long-haul flight. I had a red eye flight from London to GuangZhou with a stop over in between. The last thing I could handle was a 'train, bus and automobile' adventure straight after. This hotel was a perfect stop for this occasion. The hotel is a 10 min free shuttle bus ride from GuangZhou BaiYun International airport. The check in team kindly offered me an upgrade. While the exterior of the hotel is unassuming, room amenities are on par with Shangri-La Luo Hu in Shenzhen. I was pleasantly surprised! Concierge also has a service to courier parcels in the case you need to deliver things locally. The concierge help was incredibly kind, patient and showed me how to use the WeChat app to enable the courier service. Love that there was a 7-Eleven convenient store in the same building as the hotel. Perfect for late arrivals where all restaurants are closed and you need a quick snack. International visas are also accepted in case you don't have WeChat set up on your phone yet. There was also a free shuttle bus from the hotel to the airport, which is handy if you're heading to the metro to catch the bullet train down towards Hong Kong. Southern China Airlines in my frequent experience with them has not disappointed. Their customer service has generally been warm and welcoming. Their hotel matches their airline experience. I definitely recommend this hotel for travelers who arrive into GZ BaiYun late and need a place to recharge for the night. Thank you Southern China Pearl Hotel team!

Airport pickup runs every 30mins to/fro hotel on a 24/7 basis. Big clean rooms, modern hotel. Was served by Zixia (紫霞) @ the front desk who was professional and had a fruit platter arranged to be sent to my room (i arrived in between the odd period between lunch and dinner hours)

The location and facilities were excellent that served what I need. The price and type of room were not what I expected, but overall good experience for hotel closed to the airport that made it easy to get to the airport early morning.
