The moment we walked into the room, there were 2 dead cockroaches greeting us at the door… not sure why housekeeping left it there for us as a surprise? The rest of the room was somewhat cleaned… towels were folded and washed (I think?), and sheets were okay… not the cleanest but at this point I had bigger issues on hand.
So we were just confused as to why 2 dead cockroaches corpses were left on display for us, when the rest of the room was somewhat made… couldn’t housekeeping have just disposed of the corpses while cleaning the room?
Honestly, the review would be higher if the service was better, understand that it is a self service hotel and there is no staff present, but online customer service can still be better as a self service hotel
As when I brought this issue up to the hotel online, and asked for housekeeping to just clean the room and spray some insecticide on the following day, I got no response to that even after 24hours, in fact prior to checking in, I did not receive my confirmation email and PIN code to enter my room till 1h before I had arrived at the “hotel”…
I had to ask and call the hotel repeatedly in a mad rush as I was about to arrive in Guadalajara at 10pm without a PIN code to enter the room…, only then did they issue the PIN code to me.
