Sandals Grande St. Lucian Spa and Beach All Inclusive Resort - Couples Only

Diving was amazing, everyone is super friendly and want you to have the best diving experience. Bombay is a must. The food is amazing and if you tell the manger that you want the Indian experience, he will hand select your menu and it is amazing. Go to the shows. The entertainment team is amazing and do such an amazing job. They sing and dance and everything is spectacular.

My wife and I spent 6 days at Sandals Grande for our 15th anniversary. We had a wonderful time and could write a novel on all of the great parts. Here’s our top 5: 1. Food: there are 12 restaurants and they’re all worth visiting. We hit up 11 out of 12 (we’re not big pizza people). Our favorite was Soy (sushi). We did room service for breakfast twice, and that was great having the food brought right to your room (plan on about 40-45 min to receive). 2. Entertain team: They’re a wonderful group who are personable and always present. From games at poolside to evening shows to karaoke, they were a joy to meet and spend time with. Shout out to Leana (also Miss St. Lucia), Anderson, Cassius, Neville for being super amazing. 3. Bartenders: While there are no expectations of tipping while you are there, we learned to at a small tip to your favorite bartenders will go a long way when there is a line for drinks and you want to get one. Shout out to Peter at the pool bar, who made our favorite drinks (the Peter Special is a must). 4. Excursion: We opted to do JJ Speedboat tour, which took us to the volcano for a mud bath, the waterfall, and snorkeling. We finished up with a fun lunch and swim at JJs restaurant. Queen B (tour guide) was a blast. She brought great energy and made sure everyone had a good time. 5. The people: I know this really doesn’t have to do with the resort, per se, but we met so many great couples who we became quick friends with. There’s something about pools, bars, and good weather that brings people together. I know some are looking to go there and be isolated, but we love being social and we got to find other couples who did as well. Pool volleyball at 4:00 everyday was probably the most fun with the other people we met. This was our first St Lucia experience, so we learned a few things as well to help other new visitors to the island: 1. Bring cash: even though there’s never explicit tipping expected, there are some spots where it’s appropriate or helpful (bartender to help get quicker service, driver who takes you from airport to resort, tour guide). 2. Ride from the airport to the resort is rough, especially if you get car sick. It’s about 80-90 min and is VERY windy. If you get carsick (like me), sit up front and stare straight out the window. You can also pay for a boat or helicopter ride as an alternative. 3. Try not to forget stuff: There is a gift shop that has all of the items you may have forgotten, but it is VERY expensive. We paid $28 for sunscreen and I know others who paid very high prices for basic toiletry items they forgot. 4. Clubhouse: they are super helpful there, so use them to help book things and answer questions. They’re there for that exact reason. 5. Points: there are a number of ways to earn points while there. We didn’t push hard to keep track of ours, but if you do push to have them track them, you can get prizes at the end. 5. Photographers: There are photographers throughout the resort and the

All the staff was very friendly and the entertainment team was awesome! The photographer, Yannick was also amazing and made for a wonderful experience. I would visit the resort again. My wife and I enjoyed all of the restaurants and didn’t have a meal that we did not like.

We stayed for a week in a suite with butler service. We could not have had better service than the one we received. The butlers assigned to us Kenwin, Jackie and Amos, fulfilled our every request beyond our expectations and always with a big smile. The same was true at all levels, Remy, bartender at the Beach Bar, was amazing providing us with superior service and again with a big smile. Leona, who worked at Bayside restaurant in the mornings and as server afterward in the pool area, has such an infectious smile which made it impossible for us to not smile the rest of the day, is an example of how service should be provided. Nicolas at the Barefoot Grill, was another example of superior service at this resort. The suite, although comfortable and clean, was outdated. The whole resort need remodeling. Example no place to plug hairdryer in bathrooms, jazzcuci wall and some pools missing chunks on their walls. Smoking area with no covers to protect one from the weather. Still, I have rated the resort a five as the outstanding service and the outstanding restaurants more than made up for the outdated facilities. All the workers at the resort left a great impression with us. I have never been to any resort with as many options for excursions as this one, three typed pages of options. We will never forget the great time we had at St Lucia and given the opportunity will return.

Sandals Grande St. Lucian exceeded all expectations when we arrived. The food was amazing in all regards and the drinks are cold. The most amazing part of this Sandals is the entertainment team. Cassius, Neville, Leiana, Kevin, and Anderson made every day and every night extremely enjoyable. These friendly faces are ones we will never forget. We will definitely be coming back to Grande to experience it again.

Our stay was made amazing by the delightful staff at Sandals Grande in St Lucia. A few people that stood out for our fabulous group of 8 were the following: Leona, Beverly, and Fay the pool manager and pool servers. These ladies were all extremely accommodating, fun, patient, and knowledgeable of the property and things to do. We had an amazing dinner at Kimonos with our chef Ruben who was a great chef and comedian! Sharma was a hostess that was absolutely amazing. Sharma was kind, had great customer service, and she took care of us throughout each restaurant we tried during our stay.
