"We are regular customers here because usually we like it, but after my last stay I am not sure I will return. So apparently the hotel has a ventilation system which is supposed to turn off at 11:00 o’clock in the evening. As it says it is a ventilation system and therefore it makes quite some noise. You obviously don’t notice it that much during daytime or at least it’s not really disturbing, but there is obviously a reason why they usually turn it off at night time. It is the second time now within a couple of months that I have been there and it didn’t turn off. Which means you have a constant noise at night time in your room. They can’t do anything about it at the front desk. The only thing you can do is wait till the next day and just don’t get any sleep. Last time they were at least quite apologetic about it. This time I had to mention it when checking out. Their only response was that they will check it today. Really great so the next guests can sleep in silence. I have to say I was pretty surprised by the ignorance of the staff."

"I stayed here while walking the Pieterpad and had a very pleasant experience. The space was spacious and comfortable, making it easy to spread out my luggage and organize my belongings. There were also tables and chairs available, which gave me a nice place to relax and enjoy some quiet time. The shower facilities were clean, spacious, and there were plenty of showers, so I never had to wait. I also really appreciated that towels were provided. Most importantly, I slept very well. The bed was comfortable, the pillow was great, and I woke up feeling well-rested and ready for the next stage of my hike. Overall, it was a comfortable, clean, and welcoming place to stay. Highly recommended for fellow Pieterpad walkers. Also the supermarket and pharmacy were nearby, and AH close to the hostel has a coffee machine that sells coffee for 1 euro! P.S I'd reccommend you to try to request 320 or 321. They are a little more private compared to others."

"Very good located hotel. Good for a short weekend trip or a city trip to Groningen. They have a parking area underneath the hotel which costs extra but generally much less than parking on the streets. The rooms are spacious and have everything thing you need. Would be nice to have a fridge though but all in all everything you need for a city hotel. The service is very friendly they have good recommendations for the city and also plan activities or restaurant reservations if you would like to. All in all 100% recommend for staying in Groningen!"

"From the moment we arrived, it was outstanding. Warm welcome, assistance with the luggage from charming Young lady, check-in seamless not asking for crédit card etc. The room (31) was amazing, well maintained and great amenities. We had lunch in the brasserie and dinner in Nassau. Nassau was outstanding from the decor, the attentive service (with very knowledegeble team knowing and explainning with passion every ingrédient….. and have Great Wine recommendation)…… very rare to experience this. The dishes were amazing, very well presented and a delight to enjoy. Both kitchen crew and service team should be very proud of the outcome and experience they deliver. Well done"
