Rooms are comfortable with good quality bathroom toiletries, and comfortable beds either single or double as required. Good working air conditioning too throughout the hotel, together with the Wi-Fi. Cozy small lounge just inside the reception area with excellent furnishings. Christophe and Tomas ensure that nothing is too much trouble for whatever you require at the hotel, or either at breakfast or dinner, which are both first-class. Safe and ample parking, which is a priority for us on a travelling holiday. For me, the ashtrays on nearly every table outside should be more in the background in their beautiful garden. Although our first stay at The Bastide but not to Grignan, which is a lovely characterful small town about 20 mins walk away depending on your fitness/weather, we are intending to return next year, and look forward to enjoying Christophe's and Tomas's untiring hospitality. We wish them continued success. "

"Hotelli sijaitsee täydellisellä paikalla kylän ytimessä, pysäköinti; pyydä ohjeita parasta tapaa päästä hotelliin ja välttää hyvin kitkat tiet - saapuminen voi olla hankala. Olemme useita öitä "keltainen" huoneessa 2. kerroksessa (3. taso Yhdysvalloissa); ei hissiä. Makuuhuone oli tilava pieni viehättävä yksityisen patio, pöytä ja tuolit, katto kattoja kohti linna, täydellinen aamiainen; huoneessa on kone tehdä kahvia ja teetä. Kylpyhuone oli pieni puoli mutta mukava ja hyvin varustettu, mukaan lukien minibaari/jääkaappi. Varo! on askel alas makuuhuoneen ja kylpyhuoneen ei ilmeinen nähdä ensimmäistä kertaa - voisi olla paremmin merkitty. Yllätyksemme minibaarin sisältö sisällytettiin huoneen kustannuksiin, mukaan lukien pullo samppanjaa, olut, vettä jne. Uusi pullo vettä tarjottiin joka päivä, joka oli hyvin arvostettu kesäkuun lämpöaallon aikana. Kunpa jääkaappi olisi hieman kylmempi."

"I'm writing a review for the sister property, Le Jardin Secret, that has the same owners. They were exceptional hosts, and with their level of care for their guests I am sure La Vie de Chateau is just as amazing. They were attentive to every detail, answering every question, making recommendations, booking reservations for us, even driving us to a restaurant! When I mentioned the pillow was too thick for me, they bought me another pillow! Each day they provided a wonderful breakfast. Most of all they are so warm and kind. The property itself was immaculate and has its own garden and pool. Staying there was our favorite part of our trip to France. Grignan is a quiet, charming village surrounded by lavender fields and with delicious restaurants and is very worth a visit. La Vie de Chateau hotel is at a great location steps from the Chateau de Grignan so I'm sure a stay there is just as wonderful!"
